“We had a fantastic dinner at KR Steakbar that blended creative cocktails with beautifully prepared dishes. We started with the Apollonia Cocktail, a mix of vodka, pineapple amaro, lemon, and apple-infused black tea liquor. Light, fragrant, and perfectly balanced, it set the tone for the evening. I ordered the pappardelle bolognese, and it was outstanding. The pasta was fresh and tender, the sauce rich and layered, with just the right depth of flavor. My partner went with the steak, and it was cooked to absolute perfection—juicy, tender, and seasoned with just the right balance to let the natural flavor shine. The presentation elevated the dish without being overly fussy, and it paired wonderfully with the sides. This place delivered on every front: atmosphere, service, and food. The cocktails were inventive, the dishes masterfully prepared, and the evening felt special without being pretentious. It’s a spot that knows how to balance creativity with comfort. We will be back often.”

“Had a great experience at KR Steakbar. Their setting is simple and offers a lush, shaded patio, perfect for dining under a thick canopy of trees. The food and service truly elevate it. We enjoyed a perfectly charred, quality cut of ribeye. The wait staff offered impeccable service; our server was attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about our experience. If you want simple, great steak with a stunning outdoor or indoor ambiance, look no further.”

“I’d say it was an average experience. I went thinking I’d rate this place with 5 stars but it’s not gonna be the case and I think I’m being nice giving 4 stars. Our server was amazing and the staff as well however the food was (once again) average. I asked for a ribeye steak to be cooked medium and it was not medium at all, it was medium rare. The bread service they had wasn’t great. We asked if it could be warmed up a little bit because the bread was super cold and they said sorry but not. Also we were sitting right in front the kitchen and between the music and people in the kitchen screaming which order was ready made it difficult to hear each other. Little stuff like that adds up. I don’t think I’m going to be back. Ps: we really liked the eggplant’s fried.”

“This review is for a carry out order. I ordered a filet, scallops, brussels and tiramisu to go. My order was over $115 with tip included for one person. My scallops were bad. When I got them home, they smelled really strong. I decided to taste them and they tasted like ammonia, indicating they were old so I threw them away. The steak and Brussels were good, which is why they get two stars. I got to the tiramisu and there was a long hair in my first bite. Horrible. Will not be eating here again. Questionable product and cleanliness. Update: Kevin Rathbun reached out to me to apologize and give refund. I appreciate the accountability.”
