“Everything we ordered was super tasty. The service was great & the place is cute! The jerk chicken egg rolls were super good. Definitely a must try! We also got shrimp & grits & the cajun shrimp pasta. Everything had tons of flavor & the portions were good. We would definitely come back.”
“It was my first time dining at Poach Social today, and it was quite exceptional. The service was so amazing, but the food stole the show. My family was in town visiting, and we had not booked a reservation. It was a party of 6 (4 Adults and 2 kids). Although we knew we chanced it, we were met with genuine concern. Tanya immediately looked at me, reassured me, and said that they would figure it out. The crowd kept coming, and I felt that it was too much to ask. The wait staff saw us walking toward our cars, came out of the restaurant, and called us back in as they found a solution to accommodate us at that moment. WOW! WOW! At the point, I knew was going to be a repeat customer. But, I was so happy that my family got to experience this restaurant . The food amazing. The waiter, Hunter, was very excited about the menu. She knew it quite well, and suggested her favorites as well. We chose the SLT, the yardbird, the shrimp and grits, and the salmon with the polenta grits. Our appetizers were the lemon chili glazed wings. Those wings were life changing - I would never have thought to place the heat of the chili glazed, the acidity of the lemon pepper, and sweetness together, but it worked seamlessly. It was fried to perfection . The SLT and the yardbird had delicious remoulade that really added a great dimension. The brioche bread was buttered and seasoned well. They were just great bites. The salmon polenta came with a lovely creamy lobster sauce that was flavored very well. We opted for the choice of fried shrimp with the shrimp and grits. Again, fried and seasoned to perfection. No dish missed and no crumb was left. The kiddos had a pancake and although I didn't get to try it. Lets just say they were licking the plate. 10/10 would recommend. It was only a 10 minute drive, but I wish this spot was in my neighborhood.”
“I was here back-to-back weekends for brunch, first with my mom, then with my partner celebrating her birthday. Langston was so charming and sweet, Victor had a lovely chat with my mom about the fig trees decorating the inside, and Josi and Langston made my gf feel special with a birthday song! Everyone was attentive and warm and the food was incredible. I had the salmon and polenta and then the eggs benedict. Such great options for pescatarians!! The mimosas are (of course) delicious too!! I really appreciate they're one of the few brunch places in ATL that offers reservations, so I don't have to worry about whether or not I'll have a wait on arrival. This is definitely my go-to spot to bring people for a special brunch.”
“Poach Social was an absolute 20/10 experience! From the moment we arrived, everything was incredible. The food was truly perfection! Every dish was cooked perfectly, beautifully seasoned, and packed with flavor. You can tell a lot of care goes into every plate because everything we tried was consistently delicious. The location itself is so cute and quaint, creating the perfect atmosphere whether you’re meeting friends, having a casual date, or just enjoying a great meal. It has such a charming vibe that makes you want to linger a little longer. The service was also wonderful —attentive, friendly, and welcoming without ever feeling overbearing. Overall, such a fantastic experience from start to finish. Highly, highly recommend Poach Social if you’re looking for amazing food, great service, and a charming atmosphere!”
“We recently went to Poach Social (I hadn't been in probably 4-5 years), and I'm happy to say it still has the same charm I remembered. The staff was very friendly, the seating inside is definitely quaint and tightly packed, and overall it's a very low fuss brunch option that feels approachable and easy to settle into. They've also added outdoor seating since my last visit, which was a nice surprise and definitely a good option for a nice Atlanta day. We started with a drink that was similar to a French 75. I believe our server called it the P75, and it was easily a 9/10. Bright, refreshing, and very easy to drink, but still had a nice punch from the alcohol. For starters, we ordered the jerk egg rolls (8/10), and these delivered. The exterior was perfectly crispy, while the filling had a blast of flavor with the jerk seasoning coating every bite really well. The accompanying Thai chili sauce was the perfect pairing and added just the right touch of sweetness and heat. Next up was the waffle tower, and I have to admit, the presentation was about as underwhelming as the taste. The waffle itself was thin and slightly overcooked, so it ate very dry (even with the butter and syrup). That said, the citrus note in the batter was a really nice touch and gave it a subtle elevated flavor that we both appreciated. Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to save it overall (2/10). To compare, we also ordered the pancake stack, and this was definitely the better move. The citrus flavor came through more clearly here, and the pancakes were fluffy, golden, and much better texturally. Easy 8/10. Definitely the route I'd recommend between the two. Finally, we tried the breakfast skillet with bacon (7.5/10), which was a solid, hearty option. The over easy egg added a rich yolk that coated every bite really nicely. It did lean a bit greasy for my personal preference, but still flavorful and satisfying overall. Like I said, Poach Social is a very low fuss brunch option with charm and a genuinely friendly staff to match. After a few more visits and narrowing down some staple menu items, I could definitely see this becoming one of those reliable brunch spots to keep in rotation.”
