“Great ambience, lovely food options, and amazing texture and flavors. The beef bulgogi is amazing. Pancake have amazing crunch exterior with soft interior. The banchan are flavorful as well. They offer a small but well curated selection of Korean inspired cocktail. Overall a lovely time!”
“This is quite possibly my favorite restaurant in Boston, and one of the few places I return to repeatedly. My partner and I have limited overlap in the city, but whenever we do, we come here. It’s a place that gets you excited about food and flavor. If you’re not sure what an ingredient is or what a cocktail might taste like, ask — the engagement with curiosity is unparalleled. We’ve had many dishes on their ever changing menu, the most recent favorite being the japchae, and all have been incredible. If you don’t know what you’re looking for, or you’re just after a lovely experience, I highly recommend sitting at the bar. The bartenders are absolutely why we keep coming back. The food speaks for itself, but the service is what turns a meal into an experience. I only wish I had better photos to share.”
“I was blown away by the quality, authenticity, and hospitality of this restaurant. As a Korean, I was impressed w the menu selection - 반찬 options of some that are difficult to find at stores and other Korean restaurants. Oh also all made in house. 짜장면 was delicious sauce not too sweet. 오징어볶음 was my favorite, tender, spicy, good amount of squid. 돼지고기 was meaty, not too fatty. Portions were sizable - 3 dishes for 2 ppl was plenty. Our waitress Judy was incredibly kind, attentive, offering 반찬 refills, checking in. She made the experience from great to unforgettable. A delicious, enjoyable night. I will be back (by myself and w friends). 너무 맛있었어요. 잘 먹었습니다!”
“The restaurant exceeded my expectations. I will be honest, as a Korean diner, I did not expect much going in, knowing the restaurant is run by a white chef. That assumption was on me. He proved me wrong, and every dish was excellent. They were generous enough to provide bibim noodles on the house, which I truly appreciated. The dishes were thoughtful and well executed, and I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking to try authentic Korean food.”
“Everything was excellent! I had been wanting to come here for a long time to dine in, I came in by myself as a walk in and was so happy they were able to accommodate me. Even solo, each and every one of the staff came by to check on me. My server, Joedy (hoping I got that right) was so informative and patient as I asked her many questions about the Korean focused menu. I’m familiar with the cuisine but there were quite a few exciting options that were new to me! For drinks I tried their soju/beer cocktail (their namesake)! The seasonal flavor literally tastes like fall. The food was fresh and flavorful. I had the grilled mackerel (perfectly crisp), the sashimi wraps, and the braised beef banchan. Additionally, the complimentary banchan was so good I ate a whole two rounds. It got a little busy midway through my visit but service remained exceptional, I will definitely be back for the food and vibes. Thank you all so much! (Sashimi isn’t pictured because I ate it all before I could think of taking one)”
