“I'm so, so glad we chose this for dinner tonight during our visit. Italian is one of my favorite cuisines, and this just might be my new favorite. If only it were closer to my hometown! The atmosphere was lovely, with beautiful decor and a rich history behind the establishment. Everything we tried was delicious! We started with some calamari and a bowl of minestrone, then got rigatoni bolognese, chicken marsala, and manicotti as our entrées. We ended strong with a dark chocolate lava cake and tiramisu. Thank you to Amber for phenomenal service! ☺️ We will definitely be back someday!”
“We stopped into this place because my friend knew that it was where a scene from the movie rain Man had been filmed. We were also having dinner in Kentucky while I was visiting Cincinnati so that she could show me how close it was to get to Kentucky. Of course, once you're in Kentucky you have to have bourbon so we had a couple of old fashions and they were absolutely phenomenal, perhaps some of the best I've ever had. Atmosphere was great. It looks like there's a huge restaurant attached. All the food that came out of the kitchen looked wonderful and everyone was super friendly. The bartender was wonderful. If I lived closer, I would totally go back here.”
“The service was nice. However the food was not up to the expectations. I tried the chicken parmigiana but it was salty to my taste. It was crowded and a bit noisy. The service was nice and they were pretty helpful.”
“The food was great, but the service was exceptional. I went with my wife and two of our friends. One of those friends has a gluten allergy and our server Wendy was so attentive to their concerns. She kept our drinks full, answered any questions we had, and was just overall fantastic at her job. Sometimes you get servers that just don't care and are rude, but that was not the case here. The atmosphere was great as well. It's a relatively small restaurant compared to other Italian food establishments. But it was a warm and welcoming environment. We all ordered something different and when it all got brought to the table, each meal looked amazing. Our two friends both had trouble debating if they could finish their meals or needed to take the rest home. One gave in and finished it and the other took it home, but the fact that they enjoyed it so much that that was a real predicament for them says something about the food quality. I will absolutely dine here again.”
“I really loved the authentic home style vibe, however I had to send my Chicken Parm back to the kitchen because it was very overcooked. The staff was incredibly nice and attentive but even after receiving the fresh entree I felt it was pretty flavorless. Also the bread and butter that was served before the course was stale and very bland considering it is an Italian restaurant.”
