“This is a beautiful hotel! The people who work here and manage this property are truly next level—so kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. I have to give a special shout-out to Katie Torres, who went above and beyond to make us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. There was also another wonderful manager who went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed. And we can't forget Roy, who was incredibly kind and always willing to help with anything we needed. The exceptional customer service made our stay even more enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel and can't wait to come back!”
“As an interfaith wedding rabbi and officiant, I have officiated weddings in many extraordinary venues over the years. What struck me about The Adolphus was its remarkable sense of history and timeless elegance. From the moment guests arrived, there was a feeling that they were entering a place that had hosted generations of celebrations. The architecture, grand spaces, and attention to detail created an atmosphere that felt sophisticated and memorable without ever feeling distant or formal. As someone who spends a great deal of time observing how a venue shapes the experience of a wedding, I appreciated that The Adolphus offered more than beauty. It offered a sense of occasion. The setting elevated the celebration while still allowing the focus to remain where it belonged: on the couple, their families, and the significance of the day. What I remember most was the balance between grandeur and warmth. The hotel possesses an unmistakable elegance, yet it remained welcoming and comfortable for guests throughout the celebration. That combination is surprisingly rare and helped create an experience that felt both special and personal. The staff was professional, attentive, and a pleasure to work with. Every interaction reflected a commitment to hospitality and a desire to ensure that the couple and their guests could fully enjoy the occasion. I would gladly recommend The Adolphus to any couple looking for a wedding venue that combines historic character, exceptional service, and a timeless atmosphere that never goes out of style. It is one of Dallas's true landmarks and a wonderful place to begin a marriage.”
“I had an absolutely amazing time at the Adolphus. It is a beautiful and classically timeless building that makes you feel like you are taking a step into the past. The ambiance of the lobby was exquisite which made it the perfect place to lounge after grabbing a drink from Otto’s (the on-site cafe). The staff were very personable and friendly. Special shoutout to Don welcoming us every morning at breakfast and Roy for providing recommendations for activities around town. I can’t wait to stay at this historic building again.”
“One of our best ever hotel stays! The Adolphus offered the height of luxury with old world elegance. What made the difference was the staff -- very experienced, friendly, and helpful. From checkin to checkout, every employee was dedicated to making our stay wonderful. Very comfortable property with easy walking to restaurants and attractions. Thanks to Dan the concierge for special initiative to give us an historical perspective.”
“Came to visit a guest staying here. The valet parking was supposed to send my phone a code but code did not come through. We ate dinner for two two beers two burgers about $90. Tried to get my car from the valet however you cannot until you pay for your parking online which is a whole nother problem if you don't have a code so I had to go back and forth to the front desk argue with the girl about how come I can't pay cash. I definitely will not return to this hotel.”
