“Excellent service and food as is expected of such an establishment. Our water cups were never empty. The food came out exactly at the temp it was meant to be eaten and the views were stunning. There was a concert at the park below so it was cool to see the crowds from above. Great spot for special events that we'll only have for another year. :(”

“Flavours were bold and very unique pairings of food some worked better than others but its a must to eat here. The ambiance is elegant and refined, exactly what yu would expect from a dine dinning establishment. The prix fix menu had a multitude of options and variety some choices are a bit more bold than others but the chef clearly has perfected his craft and ypu should not shy away from trying something new here. Wait staff was incredible almost as if they were pampering me thru every course and it felt genuine which only enhances the experience.”

“We always have a memorable experience at Highlands! Celebrated my birthday there for the second time along my young daughter. They are always so welcoming and pleasant throughout the visit. We enjoyed a 3 course meal with the tomahawk and it was so delicious. I really enjoyed the red pepper soup too! Oh and I found out they have Old Forester Birthday Bourbon! We love the experience every time we have been there.”

I enjoyed the three-course dinner, and I was genuinely inspired and impressed by every detail. The scallops were absolutely divine — perfectly prepared, delicate, and unforgettable. Every course felt thoughtfully crafted and beautifully presented. A special thank you to my waitress, Holly, who was incredibly attentive, kind, and professional. She explained each dish with such care and knowledge, which made the entire dining experience even more elevated and special. I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. “This place is good to bring someone who is visiting Detroit/Michigan because you can’t beat the view that Highland offers. As for the food: Everything tasted more on the saltier end and even the sauces didn’t seem to complement the dishes. Out of all the dishes, my favorites were the raw oysters, the side broccoli, and the bread rolls. Def tasted better than all the courses. :/”
