“In my opinion, It's a shame this restaurant doesn't score a little higher (it was a 4.4 with 677 reviews as of 2/20/26). The fried clams here are, somehow, even better than the excellent fried clams just down the street at the very famous Woodman's of Essex restaurant. Also, the great food doesn't stop at the fried clams; everything on CK Pearl's menu is either a category-killer or close to it. I'd just like locals and those visiting to know that the food here is Excellent. Additionally, it affords a wonderful view of the Essex River.”

“Visit for the first time today and had a great time. Amazing restaurant with great atmosphere. Our server Will was very attentive with a lovely attitude. We were also asked how things were going by the Manager Megan while waiting on our food, and she even took a picture of us while we had lunch as a family. I can’t wait to come back in the summer time, and eat some amazing oysters!”

“Stopped at CK Pearl while passing through from Boston to New Hampshire, and honestly, it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The views alone are worth the stop — absolutely stunning spot to just relax and enjoy the water. We tried the clam chowder (hands down the best I’ve ever had), lobster bisque, four different kinds of oysters, and a warm lobster roll that was just perfect. Everything was super fresh and full of flavor. Our server was awesome — friendly, attentive, and really knowledgeable about the menu. Huge kudos to him and the chefs for the quality and care that clearly go into everything here. If you’re anywhere nearby, definitely make the stop. Great food, great drinks, great vibes — perfect way to enjoy a day with my wife next to those amazing views.”

“Excellent service and food was delicious. We got lucky and was able to secure a table In the sceeened in patio area, which is right on the water and fun to watch the boats pass by. The menu had some really interesting options and also the traditional north shore seafoods (haddock, clam strips etc) The apps were my fav part, the chowda came with a fried clam strip on top, and also friend the blueberry scallops (pictured)”

“My husband and I had an unforgettable dining experience at CK Pearl in Essex, Ma! From start to finish, everything was perfect. We started with the freshest oysters so delicious, followed with the best fish and chips we’ve ever had flavorful and cooked perfectly crispy, flaky, and flavorful with the best fries We sipped on a dirty martinis that were perfectly chilled and balanced, and we ended the night with a slice of Spanish almond raspberry cake that was absolutely divine! Moist, nutty, and just the right touch of sweetness. The food, ambiance and the waterfront views made for a truly special night. Can’t wait to go back!”
