“I love the clear pods, its snowing outside inside is warm and cozy. Half price pasta on Tuesday, you cant beat that! The mussels were very flavorful and the French onion soup was great. Wild mushroom pasta very balanced with the creamy and savory spices.”

“An ABSOLUTE MUST GO!!! Lavia Italian Eatery deserves at least 10 stars!!! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was warm and inviting. Our server, Shane, was well acquainted with all the items on the menu as well as the specials. I asked him to recommend a small plate item to start our meal. His first choice was the Tuscan Shrimp and Eggplant. Enveloped in a spicy, creamy creole sauce I would describe it as just enough spice and a whole lot of ALRIGHT!! I’ll be dreaming about this luscious dish for months!!! The shrimp were huge, plentiful and tender. My entree, the New Zealand lamb chops with a gorgonzola crust, accompanied by creamy, decadent mashed potatoes and beautifully grilled fresh vegetables was fantastic! The lamb was perfect, tender and mouth watering. My husband chose the two filet medallions. They were cooked to a perfect medium rare. One filet is served with a topping of béarnaise sauce over a generous portion of crabmeat. The other medallion was topped with a gorgonzola demi. These toppings can be changed or omitted per your palate. This restaurant is located in the heart of Geneva’s historic downtown. Make reservations and put Livia Italian Eatery on your Must Go list!”

“Great service. Cute spot. Good food. They have heated bubbles on the patio during the cold months. Inside is cozy and sets a mood. Drinks are delicious. Good is pretty good. Prices are fair. Good portion sizes. Staff is attentive.”

“We had mixed feelings about our experience at LIVIA. On one hand, the food itself was absolutely great—delicious flavor and well-prepared. Our server was also incredibly nice and tried his best, but it seemed like he was just assigned way too many tables. The biggest issue was the pacing of the meal. The kitchen brought out our main entrees just a few minutes after the appetizers, leaving absolutely no gap between courses. Because everything hit the table at once, our mains sat getting cold while we were still trying to enjoy the starters. The restaurant didn't even look overly busy, it just felt like they were significantly understaffed. It’s a shame because the food quality is definitely there, but the rushed timing really hurt the dining experience. I’d love to give them another try if they can get their floor management and pacing sorted out”
