“This estate exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, beautifully designed and the staff are all so attentive. The property is sitting on gorgeous land and you can tell every person really takes pride working here. The food is delicious and beautifully plated too. When I come back I will book with the spa. Highly recommend this beautiful stay.”

“My husband and I wanted to just get away and relax for a few days. We found a good deal at the Inn at Thorn Hill, so we thought we'd give it a try. What a beautiful inn! When we arrived and checked in, the Innkeeper treated us to a glass of prosecco. We made our way up to our room where we found a little box of chocolate truffles on the bed and a handwritten note for us on the bed. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was huge with a wonderful jetted tub. Breakfast was included with our stay. We were blown away by the breakfast. It's not the typical boxed donuts and cold eggs breakfast. We could order off of the breakfast menu. The first morning I had a three egg omelet with ham and tomatoes, potatoes, bacon and toast. Juice and coffee were also included. It was delicious, but way too much food so the next morning I just had two eggs, toast and a fresh fruit cup. It was perfect. We didn't have dinner in the restaurant, but we did stop by the bar for a drink both nights. One night we sat by one of the fireplaces on comfy leather chairs and the next night we sat at the bar. James was our bartender and he was wonderful! Every staff member that we encountered was outstanding. They paid great attention to detail. If you're looking for a relaxing get-away, with great service, in beautiful surroundings, the Inn at Thorn Hill is a must.”

“Incredible staff from check-in to dining. Great location, beautiful view from the room, nice, clean hot tub & shower. Restaurant is phenomenal. Had dinner and breakfast at the Inn. Everything was seasoned and cooked perfectly. This is truly an exceptional property and worth the visit”

“I would not recommend it for families with children under 18. I was told by the front desk that they'd have sent me away as this place is for adults. If It was mentioned on the website, I'd have gone somewhere else. Also, the front desk personel did not give me the key to my room and I had to ask for it the next day. I was staying in Room 208 (Monroe) and there was a loud mechanical noise coming from the floor. I reported it the next day as well. I checked in on 11.29.25 around 9:40pm, with a sleepy toddler in one arm and and pulling a cart full of bags in other arm and she did not offer to help (not that she has to). I drove from the mountain grand view resort and I expected a warm welcome. She made me feel uncomfortable and not welcomed. Breakfast was delicious and the staff was welcoming and professional. The place is also clean and beautiful.”

“Purchased a get an away for my wife for Christmas. We were very disappointed in this hotel. First the price is ridiculous at $450 a night. It is an old outdated inn. The room was terrible No coffee maker in rooms We could not get a hot shower. ( Luke warm at best) The TVs are old and outdated not smart TV No Roku or smart stick.. I am allergy sensitive and had a reaction to either the dirty carpet or old chairs that were dusty. My wife took a tub and the faucet was very loose and like warm water at best. We went to bed around 10 and the people above were very noisy and sounded like they were coming through the ceiling. They provided free breakfast but for the price we paid the breakfast was in the price and at $25 for breakfast it was way out of touch. I am a professional chef and when we had our breakfast it was very disappointing 1. I had eggs Benedict with home fries and side of bacon Pretty basic but a benchmark for a chef to evaluate the food. It came out and was cold.. bad start The hollandaise sauce was a powder package product from Sysco That was the true test of the food, it’s very easy and delicious to make your own as a chef. The waitress said there was a chef doing the cooking but with my 45 years of professional cooking it was nothing short of a sous cook at best. The waitress further explained thst there was a problem with the deep fryer, because the home fries had to be done in dry pan. Which the red potatoes were raw. Probably QVC pre-cut reds from Sysco. Nevertheless they were raw.In ordered a side blueberry pancake and the bottom was burnt and had only 4 blueberry’s in this very small pancake, I took a bite and sure enough it was a Box mix… It’s so easy to make fresh home made batter. That again told me a true story of what was going on in this kitchen. If this is the crap there serving for a $25 breakfast there in.no way in hell I’m going there for dinner.. the only clean and updated area is the dining room. The Inn is dirty.. For the price is way out of reach. They market as a boutique inn with that misteak and it’s one shot deal. We will never go back It’s not even a one star rating inn…”
