“I discovered this restaurant through my girlfriend, who lives nearby and recommended it to me. We've been here several times, and while the food, service, and ambiance are all decent, they don't particularly stand out. It's a solid choice if you're in the area, but nothing extraordinary.”

“Encore is a pillar in the Larchmont community. They are my go to French restaurant in the area and I’d highly recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for some steak or cooked seafood. More about my visit: I had the appetizers of the gnocchi and white wine mussels which were delicious and served to perfection. My main course was a special item, which was cooked white fish with some toppings on the side which was also very good. I also tried some of my table mates steak which was quite delicious. I had the crème boule for desert and it’s the first time I’ve ever had one; what I learned is they are delicious . Overall the experience was great and I’d highly recommended this to anyone who wants French food or just wants to have a relaxing meal in the Larchmont area-ML”

“Love coming here with my wife for Tartare Wednesday’s with a nice bottle of white wine. Never been disappointed. Each time we try a new appetizer this time it was the grilled calamari and bone marrow both excellent.”

“Great French place that has delicious food and a nice wine list. Escargots, bone marrow, French onion soup is always on our must have list. We also love the steak frites and burger. Never left the restaurant unsatisfied.”

“I live nearby, been here a number of times. Went for lunch with my daughter recently. We arrived about 1:40 (lunch "closes" at 2:30, so we thought we were ok). Service was "immediate" and obviously rushing us. We got a salad and a sandwich. Well before 2:30 they tried to clear our table *three times*, when we were obviously still eating. We finally gave up and just said ok, take it. Bill came immediately, paid by card and with a tip (15%) in cash, which got a snarky look from the server (I guess she expected more). Food was excellent. Service not so much. Won't likely go back, there's too many options here.”
