Bistro Zinc is a French - American restaurant in the Lenox neighborhood of Lenox.
“Great spot for a quiet late lunch. Bartenders are always welcoming and friendly. Food never disappoints.”
“French cuisine and French influenced fusion done well. I particularly liked the beef bourguignon- the balance between beef, tomato paste, boquet de garni, fleu de sel is particularly good. The veggies still have a bite to it and the mashed potato is very good - creamy but not overly heavy (and I don’t usually like eating mashed potato).”
“A spectacular dining experience from start to finish! The layout of the restaurant is clever and inviting with the bar separated from the main dining area with large glass panels that allow a view while keeping noise low while dining. Lennox has several quality restaurant options and we narrowed it down to 3 before choosing Zinc. It was the menu that made the choice for us, a combination of classic and unique dishes each done to perfection! Something for everyone and all was handled by an experienced staff of professionals. We look forward to our next visit.”
“We were on a short driving tour of the Berkshires and staying at a hotel near Lenox. We drove out everyday for sightseeing and dining. One night we booked a table at Bistro Zinc. They have a large parking lot behind the building which is good as street parking is difficult. We were greeted warmly at the entrance and seated immediately. We ordered wine and were served immediately. We ordered Faroese island salmon and boeuf bourguignon to share. Nice sized portions and most delicious. Waiters were efficient and pleasant. Beautiful front dining room and a very busy bar in the back. Overall a 5 star dining experience. Highly recommended.”
“This bistro has a pleasant atmosphere to relax awhile. You might as well because the food was slow to come out. The servers were very busy but still friendly. The soup du jour was cucumber gazpacho, which was refreshing on a hot day but tasted oddly too sweet. The french dip was delectable and the fries were excellent. The chicken paillard was also cooked and seasoned well, but the accompanying salad lacked substance for a dish that came with no starch or bread. The greens were only a few small tomatoes buried under a mountain of arugula. For the price they were charging, I expected a bit more.”
