“Miss Crispy Rice is an absolute gem. We went for Miami Spice and were blown away — the quality of the seafood was excellent, and the menu was truly special (they even had a dish with Uni, which is rare for Miami Spice). The team was very accommodating, happily switching out a plate since we don’t eat bone marrow. Service was exceptional, and the owner himself took care of us with such knowledge and warmth that it made the whole experience feel personal. The restaurant is also very wheelchair accessible, which we greatly appreciated. We will definitely be back!”
“Went for Miami spice dinner. First omakase and it was a 10/10 experience. Great service, great vibes, and the best crispy rice I’ve ever had (lives up to its name). Definitely on the pricey side normally (like all omakases seem to be) but the experience is fantastic. I tried flavor combinations I’d never tried before like lemon zest hamachi nigiri and snapper nigiri in plum sauce. Definitely a great date night spot for sushi lovers, if I could ball out all the time I’d be a regular 😂 Make a reservation and do the omakase. They have an a la carte option as well but it’s a better deal to do one of the omakases. Also keep in mind you pay ahead of time when making the reservation which felt weird at first but it was nice to just leave when we were done! I’ll also note that this is not a traditional omakase experience, it’s more of a remix with things like crispy rice and arancini. But I have heard their sister restaurant Mr. Omakase is a more traditional experience. Hopefully I can go next Miami spice/birthday!”
“Miss Crispy Rice offers such a fun and unique dining experience. I love their one-hour dining format, which keeps everything quick and efficient—perfect for a lunch outing when you want something special but don’t have a lot of time. I visited for the Miami Spice lunch, and while the food was excellent, the portions were on the smaller side, so you’ll likely find yourself ordering a few extras to feel satisfied. That said, everything we tried was absolutely delicious and beautifully prepared. The eel and tuna crispy rice were standouts—crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The sashimi was incredibly fresh and of outstanding quality, making each bite worth savoring. Be aware that prices are on the higher side, so expect a larger bill, especially if you add to the Miami Spice selections. Still, the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience make it worth the splurge at least once.”
“Absolutely love the food and the staff at Miss Crispy Rice.. I had an 18 hour layover in Miami and was hoping to get into Miss Crispy for a last minute dinner before I departed (I used to live in Miami a year or so ago and have been thinking about the Omakase menu for ages!). Ada at the front was able to squeeze me in earlier than my reservation time for a 14 course Omakase! And Andrew, the owner, had such great energy. You can tell every dish is well thought out and that the staff enjoy what they do. 10 out of 10, recommend a stop here whether you are local or traveler!”
“Service was absolutely excellent. They were hospitable from the moment we walked to the second we left. Receptionist was a bit indifferent, but it was a short interaction. I think the crispy rice is better than most places, however The fish itself wasn’t anything extra extraordinary besides the scallop, which was amazing. Everything was fresh and made in front of you. Sushi Chef was nice and welcoming. This is definitely worth a try however, if you are a hard-core sushi enthusiast, there are better places to explore.”
