“Little Hen is a dreamy delight located right near Washington Square Park off of the iconic Bleecker Street. My friend and I fell in love with that side of town on our visit to NYC and we wandered in to this little gem not aware of the dress code or just how fabulously fancy it was going to be. They were so kind to accommodate us on such short notice, as we were leaving that afternoon and running short on time. The entire staff was wonderful, attentive, kind and efficient. It was so sparkling clean, bright and beautiful. They set us up an adorable table and we enjoyed the cozy, cottage-core esthetic and incredible food! I had the best Mediterranean Salad (with their tender/melt in your mouth Churrasco) of my life and my friend’s Crab Cake was gorgeous and scrumptious! Everything was packed with just enough flavor and spices. Such a unique experience that was just perfect. Just look at the pictures of this classy cafe! Even the bathroom was fabulous. The attention to detail was stunning and we cannot wait to go back for Scones and Tea. I grabbed an Iced Americano to go and it came in the coolest little cup. Thank you, Little Hen! 🤌🏼🩵”
“Little Hen is the cutest brunch/afternoon tea spot! The decor inside is beautiful. People often go dressed up as if they are going to a tea party and have afternoon tea. My friend and I just had brunch, but everything was still delicious. We had a few of their signature cocktails and some of them come with a small presentation. The food was good. The rose petal pancakes are pretty to look at, but I didn’t love them taste wise. My friend got the steak and she thought it was good. I highly recommend checking this place out. The service was great as well. The staff was very accommodating, friendly, and welcoming.”
“I had the most beautiful experience at Little Hen in NYC! 🌸 From the moment you walk in, the ambiance feels like a dreamy, floral tea party—every corner is picture-perfect. The food was just as impressive as the decor. Everything we tried, from the pancakes to the pastries and tea, was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. You can really tell they put effort into both taste and aesthetics. It’s the perfect spot for brunch, catching up with friends, or celebrating something special. The vibe is elegant yet cozy, and the service was friendly and attentive. Definitely a must-visit if you’re looking for a unique and Instagram-worthy brunch spot in New York. I’ll absolutely be coming back! 🫖💕”
“We had such a wonderful experience at Little Hen in NYC. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful, with charming décor and a cozy, elegant atmosphere that makes it feel special the moment you walk in. The breakfast was fantastic—everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The presentation of the dishes was just as impressive as the taste. Our daughter ordered pancakes and they added a candle after we mentioned being in the city for her birthday. The service was warm, attentive, and friendly without ever feeling rushed. Roberta made sure we had everything we needed and happy to answer questions and give recommendations. Little Hen is perfect for a relaxed brunch, a special breakfast date, or just treating yourself. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful breakfast spot in the city.”
“The service was amazing and the interior looks aesthetically pleasing. But the food was mediocre and a bit pricey. The rose latte just tastes like sweet milk, but the eggs and steak were a bit better. Nothing really stood out, but the pancakes were pretty tasty. I definitely recommend to book ahead because it does get busy and it’s a smaller spot.”
