“A Ktown gem! Their summer raw seafood platters and noodle dishes are incredibly fresh and soothing to enjoy. The perfect balance of seasoning and sauce. Also loved the Korean pancake and poke bowl. We had an amazing lunch paired with cocktails- I can’t wait to come back for dinner!”
“We had a fantastic meal at Oncheon NYC! The Marinated Seafood Platter was the highlight—fresh crab, shrimp, and salmon in a savory sweet-spicy Korean sauce, perfect with rice and seaweed. The Doenjang Shabu Set came with tender Wagyu chuck eye and a rich, flavorful broth, while the Bulgogi Gujeolpan was a fun, beautifully presented DIY wrap dish.”
“Had to leave a Google review for Oncheon after this meal ! The new marinated raw seafood combo was HUGE and super fresh, the sukiyaki was so comforting, and the eel rice bowl was honestly amazing. Everything came out so good with zero misses. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely one of the most satisfying meals I’ve had in Manhattan lately. Already planning my next visit ❤️”
“Food - very clean and delicious dining. The shabu shabu broth was comforting and tasty without being heavy. The ingredients, including the melt in your mouth wagyu, tasted great after cooking easily in the broth. The beef tartar was also a great dish to add-on for a special experience. Service - the staff were very attentive and helpful especially when I had questions. Vibes - the hot spring-themed interior design was very calming and relaxing, adding a nice touch for the atmosphere of the dining. Follow on IG @2chenzeats for more food-related content”
“Oncheon NYC was exactly what we needed on a chilly winter evening. We started with the Seafood Kimchi Jeon — perfectly crispy with a generous amount of kimchi and fresh seafood in every bite. The Milk Tea Honeycomb Makgeolli was a standout: smooth, lightly sweet, and surprisingly easy to drink. For the main, we ordered the Signature Doenjang Shabu-Shabu (4 Layer). The broth was deeply savory and comforting, and the quality of the ingredients really showed — tender Wagyu beef, fresh seafood, and well-balanced sides. The cozy, calm atmosphere made the whole experience even better. A truly satisfying meal and definitely a place we’d love to return to.”
