“Really cool spot. Relatively low-key. Small, and super old school. Was easy to snag a seat at the bar on a Saturday at around 11:45 a.m., but I was solo. Get the Burger Au Poivre. Don't even try to decide. Get it. Best burger in NYC.”

“Legendary and great bistro in SoHo, almost a must eat if you’re a New Yorker. And a great spot if you’re visiting. The ambience is uber cool and the service is on point. The crab beignets and fried skate sandwich were delish. I think the burger lives up to all the hype. It’s not a traditional tasting burger, the patty is super peppery and the dippable addition of au poivre sauce, makes it unique. It’s a delightful burger and maybe worthy the trip alone. Highly recommend Raoul’s!”

“Went for brunch today.We started with the Long Island oyster which were excellent. My wife had the goat cheese salad and crab beignet The goat cheese salad had a great dressing and fresh. The crab beignet I highly recommend ,it was delicious . For my main I had the steak au poivre with a delicious sauce. The taste and how it was cooked were outstanding. The profiteroles with ice cream were very good. Amy our server was very professional and efficient. Our main took a little longer than usual but she let us know the kitchen was aware. We didn't ask as we were in no rush but that was great customer service. The placed was packed. I really liked the decor . The art on the gives the place a nice Parisian vibe. It was loud but with the amount of people and the size it's probably normal for Brunch. I have never had dinner here but would love to. However, reservations are extremely difficult between 630 and 8. Since it was brunch I saw a family with young children. They were really enjoying their burger which is supposed to be excellent. I strongly recommend this restaurant. We had a wonderful Brunch!”

“I had an exceptional experience at Raoul’s. Truly beyond expectations. The food was outstanding; I ordered the steak, which was cooked to perfection and incredibly flavorful. The wine pairing complemented the meal beautifully, enhancing every bite. The service was warm, attentive, and made the entire evening feel special. Raoul’s consistently delivers a memorable dining experience, and this visit was no exception. Highly recommend!”

“We’ve lived nearby for a while and decided to finally try Raoul’s. There’s nothing that unique about it, but it’s on the list of burgers my wife and I wanted to try. Since it’s on the regular brunch menu, we decided best to go for brunch. The interior is cozy, I think the layout makes good use of the space and the artwork is pretty interesting as well. The arrangement of the tables in a straight line create a hallway effect between the front and the kitchen. So whenever wait staff needed to get by you would almost always get bumped or a coat knocked out. My wife’s purse was knocked over twice and neither of the times did they offer to get it from the floor. The hostess was nice, big smile and charismatic. Same with the coat check. The waitresses, however, different story. They gave the vibe that they would rather be anywhere but at work. Trust me I feel that, but I can’t show that expression at my job and I wouldn’t expect you to show it at yours. We ordered some coffees and made it clear that we wanted to just enjoy the coffee before ordering the burgers. Mid-conversation on three accounts within the next 10 minutes they just kept coming by and saying “so… are you ready to order now?” On the third time, my wife answered for us and said just a few minutes please. And then I spoke up as well to explain and the moment I started speaking she turned away immediately and quickly walked away. At any rate, we both ordered the burger. The fries were great, but the burger wasn’t quite good. I could tell the meat was fresh, and as it’s called the “Burger Au Poivre” it’s going to be covered in pepper. The pepper was a tad overbearing. But the main downside was the bun. It was not fresh at all, it was stale and I even had a hard time cutting through the bun with a knife. When we finally finished eating we just felt unwell. The pepper doesn’t settle well. Mixed with a buttery, salt infused sauce on the side, the burger was just not enjoyable. Left a 20% tip because we’ll do that always unless it’s a truly horrible experience, but they certainly did not do anything to deserve it. We won’t be going back. I encourage those who are going to lower your expectations just a little.”
