“Can’t believe I waited so long to try Rosella. Intensive use of the words “favorite” and “best” incoming. My new favorite sushi restaurant, one of the best sushi spots in the city, and just a great dining experience. Sitting at the sushi counter is a must, you get a show and get to interact with chefs since they take your order. Best miso soup I’ve ever had, you must try and prove me wrong. Best salmon avocado roll I’ve ever had. One of the best carrot cakes, definitely top five. One of the best crudos I’ve ever had. Overall, one of my favorite dining experiences in NYC. I just loved everything about Rosella.”

“Amazing restaurant!! Best one of my 4 day trip to NY, and I tried some nice places. Besides a miso soup and desert I stuck to the sushi (negiri’s and the rolls). Everything was great and some nice wines (some of them natural and a Sake). My friend got sick so had to leave sadly, but the staff made sure I had a great night anyways. Great place which I strongly recommend to everyone!!”

“I was a bit skeptical at first when I searched the menu online but decided to roll the dice and check it out. I was pleasantly surprised by the food and the service. Our server Michael was amazing (super knowledgeable about the menu, constantly checking in, and polite enough to let us know if we over ordered). He’s the GOAT. As for the food, if you want classic Japanese sushi this might not be it. But if you’re looking for interesting textures and flavors you won’t miss it here. Even something as simple as avocado roll was amazing (I think their homemade soy sauce adds a unique flavor). I loved every item I ordered. Even the fish sausage slider, sounds unappetizing but the. I realized it’s just a fish patty on a bun.”

“The sushi was unique non-traditional. Interesting alternative to the more standard rolls. The fish slider was amazing, just wish it was larger. Ceviche and the salmon avocado roll were solid too. The farro miso soup was as good as miso soup can get. The chef was really nice and offered to curate a menu for us if we didn’t know what we wanted which I appreciate.”

“Our favorite sushi place and maybe restaurant in NY 🤔. We had high expectations and they were delivered. The service was good, they had good recommendations except that they told us not to repeat and now we want to go again to eat their tuna hand roll. Our ranking was: 1. Tuna hand roll 2. Bagel on Hudson 3. Ceviche 4. Miso Carrot Cake 5. Fish slider 6. Nigiri’s 7. Spicy tuna toll 8. Coconut ice cream 9.Salmon avocado rolls”
