“Best Lebanese in Brooklyn. When you walk in, you’re met with smell of fresh baked pita right there at oven in the front. They come out and to your table as soft and luxurious little pillows. We over ate hummus and muhammara just to get more pita. I do think their dips and small dishes are best, we loved the crispy potatoes and tiger prawns. Service was nice and the space is inviting. Again, you will be hard pressed to find better Lebanese in the city.”

“This is one of those places I wish I would’ve written more notes on but I was too busy enjoying the food and company. Met my friend I hadn’t seen in ages here for dinner before a show and we were both blown away by the atmosphere, the authentic and delicious Lebanese delights and the friendly service. Went on a Saturday night for dinner and it was absolute perfection. 10/10 will go back. Wish I had more photos as well but I was too busy enjoying the meal and company which is what’s always supposed to be the case!”

“Sawa is bar none the best Lebanese restaurant I have ever eaten at. Portions are generous, atmosphere is welcoming, and it’s intimate enough/not too loud to have meaningful conversations. Excellent date spot in an underrated part of Brooklyn! It gets busy so def make a reservation!”

Items my friend and I ordered: - Green with Envy cocktail: 5/5 delicious - Muhammara/ Rstd swt ppr dip: 3/5 not worth it - Little Gem: 6/5 obsessed - Lamb Ribs Shawarma: 3/5 too small for price Seems to serve more seasonal items so doubt you’ll be able to get this. “Bookmarked this spot for a while and finally paid a visit. I completely agree with the other reviews about the dreamy pitas — soft, fluffy, and freshly baked to perfection. The aroma alone was incredibly inviting. Our favorite dish of the night was the special: the smoked cabbage. Such unique, layered flavors from the combination of sauces. The lamb ribs were just okay for me, a bit too sweet and saucy. The whole dorade was unfortunately disappointing; despite the heavy spices and sauces, the fish tasted quite fishy and didn’t seem very fresh. There are still many items on the menu we didn’t get to try, like the lamb baked pita pie, so would love to be back again.”
