The space itself is a visual feast. Designed by Wid Chapman Architects and adorned with stunning mosaic artwork by Allison Eden, the decor puts a fresh 2024 spin on our original 1954 location. “Our server Indigo was lovely! My boyfriend and I ordered + split the Vegan Coconut Frrrozen Hot Chocolate, which was on my bucket list of things to try in NYC. I'm grateful that there was a vegan option and it was delicious. The ambience is stellar (great music, Twin Peaks esque floor... dreamy!) Thanks for making our last day in NYC memorable!”
“We just got into New York City this afternoon and decided to walk around Times Square. My husband and I had been to the original Serendipity 3 over 20 years ago, and we were already planning to take our boys there for their famous frozen hot chocolate if we get some time. So we were excited to stumble upon the Serendipity Times Square location by chance. We ordered the classic frozen hot chocolate, my older son tried the mint flavor, and my youngest (has a dairy allergy) was able to get the frozen coconut hot chocolate, which was great to see as a vegan/dairy-free option. Everything tasted good. There was a small hiccup when they switched servers and forgot our frozen coconut hot chocolate order. The drink came out not long after. It tasted good, though it did have a few chunks of slushed ice. Overall, it was a fun experience and a great way to revisit a place we’ve enjoyed. Service was warm and welcoming. Ali, our initial server, was very friendly and gave some fun facts about Serendipity.”
“Reservations are definitely necessary at this hot spot, but even with reservations, I’m consistently seated 15+ minutes late here. On this most recent visit I ordered the Cobb salad and finished with a salted caramel frozen hot chocolate. Everything was absolutely delicious! My server was very friendly, but they were rarely found when needed and I spent a lot of time waiting - for a drink refill, to order, to order dessert, to get my check. This is not the place to eat when you’re in a hurry, but the food and desserts are great!”
“Stopped by because I could use my quarterly Resy credit. Definitely giving Times Square tourist vibes. I had the Truffle Burger with Fries and the Frozen Hot Chocolate. Clean and bright atmosphere. Was seated quickly (solo) and service was good. Truffle Burger was okay, nothing to write home about. Frozen hot chocolate was delicious but what sugar laden concoction isn't. Pricing was high but that is expected for NYC/Times Square plus the portions were big. I wouldn't go back and probably wouldn't recommend. But if you're in the area and need to use the RESY credit why not.”
