Located on Restaurant Row in the heart of Manhattan in the Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood and Theater District, Sicily Osteria is a dining destination that appeals to local residents and office workers, as well as Broadway theatergoers.
“The food was excellent overall, and we would definitely recommend the grilled octopus and the lobster ravioli. The crab spaghetti, however, was a bit underwhelming compared to the other dishes. The restaurant also has a lovely terrace. It closes fairly early, but if you arrive in time, it’s a beautiful spot to enjoy your meal. The only downside was the service. We noticed that several tables who arrived after us received their food before we did, which was a little frustrating. We also had difficulty getting our waiter’s attention, each time we tried, he would say “one minute” and then not follow up. It didn’t ruin the experience, but it did take away from an otherwise very enjoyable evening. That said, the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere make this a place we’d happily return to.”
“10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for that old school Italian vibe, right in Hells Kitchen 2 blocks from Time Square. The bar team was fantastic and helped guide me through the menu! The Grilled Octopus was smoky and tender. The Cacio E pepe was everything you'd want and then the Dessert was fun and playful. Roberto was a pleasant friendly face even though I sat at the bar! Ill be back to try the Branzino ;) Thanks again!”
“Made reservations for a Thursday evening at 6pm and was seated right away. We came during their Happy Hour, but opted to order from their regular dinner menu. Our table ordered apps, entrees, sides, and desserts - the whole nine yards! Iol What I got: - Brussel Sprouts: Nice balance of savory and a tad of sweetness! - Spaghetti Carbonara: Plentiful + filling. Perfectly savoriness of a creamy dish with yummy bacon bits. - Lemon Sorbet: Always love closing out my meal with a sweet, refreshing bite! Prompt staff and comfortable space. I saw that they also have a $25 Lunch weekday Prix Fixe, which seems like a sweet affordable option. Great spot near the Theater District!”
“My husband and I enjoyed our visit immensely! The host was extremely welcoming and kind, and the service was attentive and perfectly hospitable. We had several encounters with multiple staff members, and each person was wonderful! Roberto, our main waiter, was lovely and made sure our experience was memorable. Our meals were delicious, drinks were crafted to perfection, and dessert was divine. 10/10!”
“"Our Server Roberto G was wonderful! We came in before a show and did not feel rushed at all. He waited until we were done with our appetizer to put in our main dishes. He checked in but not too much. We had a bottle of wine, a cocktail, and a separate glass of wine. For food we had one appetizer, a main pasta each and one dessert to share. The appetizer was great! Both pasta dishes were lacking on sauce. My cacio e pepe was a little dry. Maybe needed more salt/cheese flavor. Would not stop me from coming back but I’d order something else. The Dessert was so good!" Overall a great experience!”
