“The steak was really good and seasoned well. We had the mash potatoes and mushroom risotto for sides. Both sides tasted amazing. Its a good spot for a date or just being with friends. The staff are very kind and attentive.”

“FANTASTIC! The food, the drinks, the waiter!! 100 all around. We wanted to find an excellent steak place here in New York and we found it. Our steaks were juicy, flavorful and had a perfect crust. We also got Mac and cheese, homestyle fries and the mozzarella with peppers. It was very quiet and nice. I would highly suggest stopping in here for a radiant meal.”

“A quiet and classy spot. My New York Strip was savory with the sauce it was a buttery goodness. The garlic mashed potatoes were creamy and a salty savory! The service was white gloves without the gloves! The food was amazing but the atmosphere is quiet and peaceful what a change from the typical Manhattan chaos to dine. You get to enjoy your food and your guest and the conversation is easy to hear. It was a perfect meal and a perfect place I highly recommend it!!!”

“I stopped by West Side Steakhouse today around 5pm. The best part of the meal was the classic mule, it was delicious and it came out pretty fast. The bar was quick, The food took a while, even though there was only us and another table. The appetizer slab bacon was good, our steaks were done at the wrong temperature. For the ribeye, I asked medium, it was rare to medium rare, not medium. I only ate the ends since they were more to my liking and left the whole piece of the meat. We also order a filet minoj, medium well, and it also came out medium rare, the food took so long that we decided not to send it back and ate the edges of the meat. The mac and cheese was delicious, the saute broccoli was good, and the mushroom risotto was good as well. However, we were really craving a great piece of meat. Overall, the star of the meal was the Mac and cheese and the classic vodka mule. The sides and drinks were solid, but the steak — the main reason we visited — missed the mark. Update after their response : 11/22/2025 Thank you for taking the time to respond. I appreciate that you’re open to feedback and that you clarified how easily the steaks could have been corrected. However, part of my experience — and the reason for my review — is that food should come out cooked as ordered, especially at a steakhouse. We did consider sending the meals back, but because the food had already taken quite a while and we were hungry, we chose not to wait longer. That decision doesn’t change the fact that the steaks weren’t prepared correctly on the first attempt. My review wasn’t written to harm the business but to share an honest experience. The sides and drinks were genuinely great, and I made sure to highlight that. The rating reflected a balance of what was done well and what missed the mark. I hope this context helps, and I’m glad you’re using feedback to improve. I’d be open to giving the restaurant another try in the future.”
