Hamilton's Kitchen is an American restaurant in the Winter Park neighborhood of Winter Park.
“Hamilton’s Kitchen is such a gem. The vibe is warm and inviting, and the outdoor seating is absolutely fantastic—perfect for a relaxed breakfast or brunch. They offer a great variety of breakfast and brunch options, and their dessert selection is especially tempting. Everything I tried was delicious, and the presentation was beautiful (the matcha latte and fries were a standout!). It’s the kind of place you can enjoy for the food, the atmosphere, or both. Definitely worth a visit.”
“This weekend I dined at Hamilton's Kitchen for the first time. A friend of mine rented a private room for an event. When you arrive, valet will park your vehicle for you (valet tickets are validated by the restaurant so make sure to do this before you leave). Walking in, the restaurant is past a lobby/bar area on your right. The place has a gentle vibe. It's beautifully decorated and was a perfect place to host brunch with the girls. Our waitress was Gabrielle. She gave great advice about the menu, helped us order drinks we'd like, and was very attentive. I ordered the crab and asparagus omelet with hollandaise sauce, a side of bacon, and a side of cheesy stone ground grits. The average meal is around $20. The grits were my favorite--they were absolutely delicious. To drink, I had a PERFECT mimosa, an espresso martini (because I have to order one everywhere I go), and a lemon drop martini. The drinks were all delicious. Can't wait to return to give this place another go. Thank you, Gabrielle!”
“Yum. We had a great meal here recently. We started with a Burrata and Fig Salad, Brussel Sprouts and Beet Salad, and Buttery Cornbread. Next came an exceptional Sauteed Faroe Islands Salmon with a great Succotash (with a bit of Okra). The fish was crispy and cooked just right - still moist inside. The only dissapointment was that it was served on Swiss Chard instead of with Chinese Broccoli. My friend had what they called an America Peking Duck. They also called it a Duck Breast Confit. I don't understand the choices of names, but my friend thought it was delicious. Then we split a huge bowl of the McCallan 12 Yr Butterscotch Pot De Creme with large chunks of Toffee. So good. Brian was very good at service. We'll be back.”
“We dined here earlier in the year, as we really enjoy visiting the Winter Park area and the food scene is great. The food here was good, but average. The service was very good and atmosphere was nice, we dined inside where it was quiet, should have tried the outside area as it appeared nice. I would try this place again, maybe different dishes as I felt the chops and steak lacked little flavor, but the fish was very good. Waitress was great and all over it.”
“Let me preface this with the fact that three stars overall I feel is pretty generous. If I could give them 2 1/2 stars I would. For $172 and a nearly completely empty restaurant. We had an extremely disappointing experience. The appetizers (crab bisque; delicious/ tuna crudo; sorta meh, needed seasoning) came out in perfect time, but then there was more than 30 minute wait for our entrées to come out which we couldn’t understand. The entrées themselves we had mixed opinions about. My wife had the flank steak with the chimichurri sauce, and she really enjoyed it. I, however, had the beef short ribs, which I hear they are known for and all I can say is I’ve never seen such dry meat in the sense that there was basically no sauce on the meat. The noodles were sauced fine but where on earth was the sauce on the meat!? The ultimate disappointment was the sticky toffee pudding at the end. Again, this was DRY AS A BONE. What does this place have against sauce? We were so disappointed at the conclusion of our meal. We’ve heard such good things about this restaurant and really expected a lot more. Particularly because this is a high-end restaurant. I find myself questioning whether we will go back. The kitchen needs to get it together with cook times and delivery times and food needs to be properly sauced and seasoned. What a disappointment. I’ll be very curious to see if management responds to this review.”
