Heartbreakers Pizza & Wine

“Honestly, I’m not one for eat-in pizza, but I was with my 2.5 year old daughter after daycare and we needed a little “date night” and HB is right by her daycare - they fit us in before their reso came at 6:30, were super kind to us, gave my girl stickers when we left, had a metal cup for her to drink out of and the pizza was so so so darn tasty. A small was enough for us and we took home 3 slices - my daughter ate the garlic dip with a spoon and the vibe was relaxed and chill. I thought the price for a Za and a glass of wine was really good! $50 with tip and I tipped 18%. Oh I would agree that the music was just a few decibels too loud.”

“Officially one of my favourite places in Ottawa. The vibes were great the second we walked in; we were soaked from the rainstorm we'd just walked through and the owner told us she wished she had a towel to offer us! The staff was very nice, and the service was quick and attentive. The space itself is super cute, dark green and pink is a killer combination. I love the art and decor as well, and the restaurant branding is fun and creative. It's a small space, but that makes it feel fun and special. The food was obviously the highlight: we had the Sweetheart and the Fun Guy. Both were delicious, but the Sweetheart is what I'll definitely be ordering again, the combination of honey and jalapeno with pepperoni was killer. The garlic dip was great too. We didn't have wine but the list looked impressive, and they had Mexican coke and Topo Chico which was nice. Can't wait to come back!”

“Very limited seating which is perfect and works so well for here. Constant people coming in for pickup orders but never was bothered by it. Amazing use of the space. We had half Sweetheart and half Riccotta , with the garlic and hot oil ( chunky but good). Delicious, the dough was magical as well. We also got the artichoke dip which was delicious and might of converted me to being an artichoke dip guy. Will recommend.”

“Consistently delicious (Dine in). Note: when ordering a large pizza they allow you to mix / order half & half pizza topping options. Tried a variety of pizza options this time around. I found the ricotta pizza too spicy for my liking. Would order it again but ask them not to add spicy oil / peppers. Order the wings (a must)! The pineapple pizza was a big hit, as well as the sweetheart pizza (a go to option). The sausage option was mild in flavour. The cake was also very good”

“Shared 3 pizzas between 4 people but I've tried takeout for the "Ricotta & Honey" before so I'll rate that too. Overall the pizzas were all very good with the only issue being that the bottoms were not crispy after sitting out for a short 4-5 minutes or so. Takeout and reheating the bottoms at home as you eat would make them significantly better. Fun Guy: 9.5/10 By far the best one. Deep mushroom flavour with the perfect amount of a little funk from the truffle. Generous amount of herbs to balance it out. Ricotta & Honey: 9/10 Quite a simple combination of sweet and spicy but the ricotta really brings that pair of flavours together. Very yummy. Fennel & Sausage: 7/10 Lacking in fennel flavour bur that's really my only complaint, pretty good overall. The Sweetheart: 6/10 This is kind of just a classic pepperoni with some jalapenos and honey on top. It's not worth ordering considering their other options are so amazing. Not a bad pizza by itself though.”
