“Our niece suggested this restaurant and it did not disappoint. Our group was six and Max was our server. Max was wonderful and made sure our group was well taken care of throughout the evening. The manager was also very attentive and supportive of his staff adding to the relaxed comforting atmosphere. The food was excellent. We had the raw oyster tower including mussels and cooked shrimp cocktail. It’s was amazing fresh, chilled to perfection and the accompanying sauces were the total experience. The cheese and meat charcuterie’s board was so satisfying. It included cheese, meats, pate, raisin mix with apples, strawberries and toasted nuts so good. Then we shared their outstanding hamburger, fish pilaf and streak dinners. All I can say is our plates were left clean. Dessert their crème boule was well worth the treat. We are from North Jersey 2+ hours away but we would definitely visit Royal when in the area again. Great place to eat and just be.”

“My husband and I enjoyed this restaurant last night with another couple and had one of the nicest dining experiences. Loved the restaurant chill but elegant and beautiful vibes but the food was next level delicious! We had the oysters French onion soup, and salad Nicoise with a red Bordeaux to complement it all-10/10 evening in every way!”

“Always a good time at Royal Boucherie! The food and flavors are incredible. The beet salad is always so fresh and tasty! The onion soup is my favorite and one of the best in the city… if not THE BEST! They have an amazing bar with interesting and delicious cocktails too! The staff are friendly and easygoing while also super personable. The place has a beautiful ambiance and the perfect place for date night or even just a solo brunch!”

“Choose this place at random for a quick lunch, and was happily surprised how lovely of a time I had! The food was served promptly and the waiters were wonderfully attentive. The day was nice, so they had the doors open to let in a nice cooling breeze. The vibes were immaculate. The pomme aligot was creamy mashed potatoes with gruyere cheese and garlic. They are hands down the best mashed potatoes I have ever had! The texture of the potatoes was perfect, and it was an even balance of potato and cheesy with just a hint of garlic to bring up the flavor. My dining partner had the omelet and stated that it was delicious. They also got themselves a plate of haricot verts and were surprised at the addition of shallots to the dish. They ended up loving it! The waiter also gave us a water bottle and glasses so we could refill our own water glasses as we wished. Even the water was fantastic. This will definitely be a restaurant we return to the next time we are in the city! (Visit was 03/14/2024!!)”

“Drinks were good. Enjoyed the charcuterie - came with selection of meats & pickles (no cheese fyi). The steak frites was good. Duck confit was delicious - smaller portion size. Reservation for 2 - booth style seating next to each other with small cafe table. Worked for us watch out for older parties :)”
