Sally is a cozy neighborhood restaurant & bottle shop specializing in wood-fired sourdough pizza, natural wine, and seasonal small plates.
“I had a phenomenal meal here, the food was delicious, the service excellent & the atmosphere cozy and hip. From the moment I walked in I was greeted with smiles, great conversation and the best white pizza & Caesar salad I have ever had. I wish this was my neighborhood gem, I’d eat here every week.”
“Incredible experience. Great location, vibe, service, staff, interior, drinks and food. We made reservations in advance good thing as around 6pm on a Monday it started to get a little lively. We started with two cocktails the new class same teacher? And the poor Helen. Both nice little riffs on classic cocktails. The same teacher was top notch. For starter we had the chicken Milanese which was outstanding. Then we split a fennel and sausage pie. I finished with a neat averna. I wish I had more room for dessert. Most importantly the entire evening was made effortlessly cool by the entire staff. From being greeted to being sat. The server especially the server was on top of everything and a real pleasure to chat up. All the food came out promptly and anytime we were low on something , someone was there to check in on us. Even tho it was getting quite busy everyone had cool composure and kept things moving pleasantly. We will be back in the spring can’t wait to come on an off hour and more hungry to spend more time here. Thanks to everyone working the Monday before new years we had a great night out.”
“I had one of the best Caesar salads in my entire life. I got it with chicken and that chicken was so good, almost like a Milanese chicken. The creaminess of the Caesar dressing broke the fat of the fried chicken perfectly and the kale brought a nice flavor (for those who like kale) and chewiness. Honestly, I will go back there just for that salad. Some people were splitting it for 2 and then getting a pizza. I just had the salad, no pizza, and I was so full afterwards. What was absolutely delicious too was the house ricotta. I think they didn’t give enough focaccia to go with it though. It felt wasteful to have that much ricotta left, and keep in mind I was packing my focaccia, I was not spreading lightly. I gave 4/5 stars for the atmosphere because the lighting was a weird pink lighting, and I really hurt my eyes. I almost had a headache by the end of dinner.”
“This place was good! I can see the hype. We got the ricotta which was probably the best item we ordered. Loved the yuzu and black sesame and the bread was great and STEAMY hot which I love when we got it. Speaks to the freshness. We also got the kale Caesar which was good too. And the loud red which was not loud at all in our opinion. The olives were fantastic. Will definitely come back again to try some of their other pies.”
“We had a nice time at Sallys. I think they could probably use one more server for sunday dinner service, however, everyone was super nice. the carbonara was very undercooked (and i like al dente) but the sauce was great. wine was awesome and server gave good recs. we got 6 pizzas, 2 salads and a pasta for 8 women. that was a good amount.”
