“We recently hosted an event for the SF Social Club here for a tasting menu, and it was an absolute standout experience! From the atmosphere to the execution, everything was spot on. Chef Frankie is a master of his craft. The tasting menu was perfectly paced and every dish was a hit. We started with a massive seafood spread on ice and some delicious starters, including the tartare and those perfectly crispy rolls. The main course spread was incredible—we had a variety of proteins like salmon, chicken, and steak served family-style on large boards. And you can’t skip the sides; the mac & cheese and asparagus were crowd favorites. A huge thank you to Michael K. for the top-notch service. He handled our large group with ease, keeping the energy high and making sure we had everything we needed. It was the perfect setting for our club to come together over a world-class meal. If you’re looking for a place in SF that combines a high-energy social scene with serious culinary talent, this is the spot. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Dinner at STK was beyond expectations! I loved walking into the cool clubby vibes. As a group, we appreciated Michael K’s service throughout! We all enjoyed the drinks and ordered more as the night went on. The appetizers were amazingly generous and tasty. I didn’t know if I could go for the entrees, but the delicious presentation was hard to ignore! I didn’t get to take pictures of everything we had, but hopefully this gives a hint of how wonderful we appreciated Chef Frankie.”

“I was visiting from Austin, TX and thought I’d try this steakhouse with my spouse. It appeared to be a good recommended option. What we experienced was far from it. We arrived and sat there debating what to order. The prices were outside of what we considered would be appropriate for what we thought about ordering. We have no qualms paying for good food, especially an awesome steak. But we have had better pricing at Michelin-started restaurants. We eventually settled on trying something new. My spouse went with the ribeye. I went with the shrimp scampi with a side of asparagus. The ribeye tasted of a sous vide cooked steak that was seared to order. It lacked flavor or even consistency. The shrimp scampi was over oily for my liking. The best part of the whole meal was the asparagus and the Bonanza red wine blend. We were quite disappointed. Our server Dylan was great. He was attentive and tried to meet our needs as best he could. Even when he asked how the food was, he wondered what he could do to make things better. We told him that his service was excellent. However, the food was sorely lacking. We explained to Dylan what we were accustomed better prepared steak. We told him we were traveling from Austin, TX. We told him we had traveled from the west and east coasts, but no restaurant has been able to compete with Bartlett’s Restaurant in Austin, TX, especially the steak. At the end of the night, we determined this would not be a restaurant we would return to since the quality no where matched the pricing.”
