“Hamlet & Ghost was easily one of the best meals I've had in Saratoga Springs. The atmosphere is awesome. It's got a unique, historic feel without being stuffy, and the energy in the restaurant makes it a great place to spend an evening. Every dish we ordered was excellent, and it's clear the kitchen takes a lot of pride in what they're putting out. The food was creative, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The team behind the bar could have been a little more attentive, but honestly, the quality of the food more than made up for it. We'll definitely be back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great dining experience in Saratoga.”

“I had an absolutely fabulous meal and cocktails. We had cocktails at the cocktail bar and then sat at the Sous Chef bar to see the meals prepared which I always enjoy. We had the Duck with Coq Au Vin sauce and Pork with Spatzel. We shared cheese curds with hot pepper jelly and pork belly. If you are in Saratoga it's a must go but you must make reservations. Even the cocktail bar filled up within 10 min of them opening. There was a line outside before they even opened.”

“Amazing restaurant!! If you’re visiting Saratoga Springs and want somewhere good to eat, book this place! The drinks and food are all really well done. Coming from nyc, I feel like this would be a competitive restaurant there too. Make sure to reserve in advance because it gets packed.”

“Interesting food, excellent bar and cocktails. I forgot to take photos of the burger (which was phenomenal) and of the Denver steak with Robert sauce (which was cooked appropriately but the entire dish of steak, sauce, potatoes, and cabbage were oddly sweet and one note). Best bites were the cheese curds and the associated dipping sauce, worst was the buttermilk gratinee on the oysters. Unless you are very enthusiastic about straight buttermilk, skip it, as it overwhelms the oysters entirely.”

“Underwhelming. Came here to celebrate a birthday, and was excited based on the reviews and menu. Left disappointed. The bad: it took a while for our small plates to come out, and when they did only 3 of 5 came out. It was about 30-45 minutes until our final two small plates came out. That’s an absolutely wild wait between small plates, especially when one is a salad. Sadly the salad (winter radicchios) was the most interesting and flavorful dish we had. Tuna poke, beef tartare and scallops all lacked any impactful taste. Next, main entree came out a whole TWO HOURS after the start of our dinner. By that time we were tired and ready to pack it up so I had two bites before getting it boxed. The good: the atmosphere is cute. Some of the portions of the small plates were generous. Some of the cocktails were unique and tasty. All in all I would come back for a drink and maybe a quick small bite, but would worry about the quick part..”
