Nico's Tacos on Como

“Wow wow wow, Nico's is definitely one of my new favorite Mexican places in the cities. The service was casual but extremely good, with our server/host being exceptionally kind while also providing recommendations as myself and my partner had been open that it was our first time there. We ended up each getting a themed drink (the whole placed was dolled up in pink for Valentine's day, complete with a Valentine's themed drink menu!) which was a bit pricy and honestly probably not something I'd order again, but the classic marg is a great option for happy hour nevertheless. But the tacos, ohhhhh the tacos. By far the best I've ever had. I personally recommend the Calamari Taco, it was so delicious I had to ask for another one. I had tried a couple other tacos including a chipotle taco with shrimp and a chipotle chicken taco, which were also delicious. My partner had tried an assorted mushroom taco, as well as a couple others featuring shrimp and scallops, and loved every single one she had! The building and the area itself are also beautiful, securing Nico's as wonderful location for both a quick lunch, a nice date, or just getting drinks and some food after work. My only warning is to be prepared to spend 40-50$ per person (including tip) if everyone is ordering a drink and 3 tacos.”

“Me & my bestest friend went on a journey to find the best taco place with the best atmosphere & best server. We stumbled upon Nico’s & we just asked our server to get us her favorites. It was unbelievable & we’re going back there forever until the end of time. Sami needs a statue & her own TV show, best server ever. Everyone else was great too, came for the food, stayed for the people”

“The Christmas pop up was so much fun! The food was excellent and authentic. We live in Minnesota and finding authentic Mexican food is not always easy. We often go to the same spots. This spot is one we will keep coming too. The salsas we full of flavor. The chilequiles were on point and the corn tortillas smelled and tasted homemade. I love different tequilas and this spot hit with all the drinks!”

“Delicious food, great service, inviting atmosphere! They easily accommodated our party of 8 with a reservation. Server was helpful with answering questions. They were particularly helpful with a peanut allergy. Server checked to ensure no peanuts are used. Current selection has pine nuts in one dish, but that’s all. He still noted peanut allergy on our order. They have a party room available too.”
