“We arrived in Paso Robles early for Sensorio and were encouraged to grab dinner in town — which led us to Grace & Rose, and what a wonderful discovery it turned out to be. Even though we were making reservations at the last minute (and it seemed like an exception), the staff was incredibly gracious about accommodating us. The restaurant itself is set in a beautifully converted house, which gives it a warm, intimate feel the moment you walk in. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, and every member of the team was friendly and attentive from the start. It also felt like one of the nicer restaurants in town. Prices were about average for this type of dining, and while the menu is entirely à la carte, the quality made it worth it. The food was beautifully prepared, and the whole experience felt unhurried and genuinely hospitable. It ended up being the perfect pre‑Sensorio stop, setting the tone for the rest of our evening. We left already talking about coming back the next time we’re in Paso Robles. Highly recommended.”
“Wonderful experience as we dropped in on a Thursday to break our journey. Warm welcome, great staff! Incredible wine list with a serious combo of aged Paso gems and many options on the Napa/Sonoma range in addition to a fabulous range of French wines. Loved the oysters, kale salad, and juicy pork chop!. Feel fortunate to have happened upon Grace & Rose! Will certainly be back next time we're in Paso.”
“Everything from the front porch to the staff, food and drink was amazing. Celebrated my husband's birthday. Nick was a great waiter. The brick chicken and fish were awesome. Save room for the salted Carmel gelato!”
“This restaurant was incredible. I ordered the Butcher’s Cut Steak and my husband ordered the Brick Chicken. It was one of the top 3 meat dishes we’d ever had: the steak was tasty and marbled perfectly, and the chicken was extremely tender and tasty. We had a kale & fennel salad and Basque cake to share. All the dishes were fantastic and we finished every drop/crumb.”
“We had the pleasure of dining last night to celebrate our anniversary and everything was a delight! From the welcoming atmosphere and the beautiful yet minimal design, we began having a great experience from the moment we entered this gorgeous renovated farm house. We were quickly greeted by our server and offered the daily special, the scallops with miso sauce and panceta, which we ordered as our appetizer. The flavors of the dish were STUNNING with the most incredible umami flavor. We enjoyed this with a half bottle of the Cremant and it paired nicely. Next we enjoyed our entrees, the steak medallions and the pork chop. The sommelier recommended us each a glass of wine for our meals which we were able to taste first. The wine selections did not disappoint and the dishes were SUPERB! Finally, we enjoyed the Basque Cake for dessert along with the Tawny Port, DELICIOUS!! During our meal we had the pleasure of chatting with Julie, one of the owners, and she was lovely and sweet and made us feel even MORE welcome with her beautiful energy. This restaurant is an absolute triumph, our hats off to the owners for creating such a marvelous restaurant with incredible staff, and for a wonderful experience that we won't soon forget. We look forward to dining at Grace & Rose the next time we visit the area!”
