“For an absolutely spectacular fine dining experience in Whistler, look no further. The food, the wine, the service was all outstanding. Lobster was great. Elk steak and sausage were also amazing. Even the green beans and mash potatoes were incredibly delicious.”
“This was a great meal with a friendly, amazing staff. It's the second of two so far at Whistler where everything works (Caramba was the other). Rare is it that managers do more than run around looking like managers... And here, they filled water glasses, asked about drinks, reset tables, and ran food. All with smiles. This infects (in a good way!) all the staff. The bread. Oh my. Delicious. Crusty on the outside but then you have to tear it. Yum. Lobster vol au vant was wonderful. Tiny critique is that the lobster was slightly chewy instead of firm. But, there was lots of it per dish. Lobster can actually be challenging to get perfect. Gem salad was great with a lovely dressing. Brussels were different but delicious (cheesy plus beef tips). Surprisingly good. We then all shared the nitro ice cream for an experience new to us. The ice cream was so pure and delicious! Pricey, including very expensive margaritas, but a fantastic experience.”
“I had a wonderful night and experience celebrating my anniversary. Bastien was taking care of us throughout the courses and had a lovely experience and chat. Also had a wonderful time in the Grey Goose vodka ice room, special shoutout to ed with the wonderful chat/guide in the freezing cold room good vibes throughout the session!”
“A true gem in Whistler. Upon entering in, staff greeted us with warm smile and took our coats. Our server, Jeremy, gave us a brief history of Bearfoot Bistro and mentioned that their wine cellar is the largest in BC. Pretty rad! We aren’t big drinkers so we decided to skip on the wines. We chose the course menu and we agreed this was the best meal of the trip! *Lobster Bisque Creamy and packed with flavor. The lobster meat and corn added sweetness and the crouton complemented the dish. *Foie Gras My dining companion got the foie gras and I must say it’s the best foie gras I’ve had! It was well prepared so it was not bitter and overpowering. It paired well with the red wine jus. *Wagyu Beef Cheek Very tender and soft. Cut like butter. From the sauce, salad, and the beef cheek itself, everything was so flavorful! *Pistachio Financier Quite frankly one of the best desserts I’ve had! The saltiness of olive oil gelato and the tartness of blueberry sauce balanced the sweetness of the brown butter cake. Layering it with the pistachio added that extra crunchy texture. When eaten altogether, it feels like heaven touches your taste bud. Very good! My dining companion also loved their wagyu burger and citrus meringue. Service was attentive from start to finish. It’s my first time here but won’t be the last!”
“Went here a year ago and the food was great with good portion though the dishes were a bit pricey. We did again after a year, services and atmospheres are still great. However, price has increased, and portion size are smaller, especially for appetizers. It was Dec 29. We had five people and we didn’t book a restaurant. We were lucky to be able to find this one. I think one of the reasons is that this restaurant’s price is on the very high side among all others. Food quality is good.”
