“We've returned for almost every anniversary since we were 17. This year was our 9 year anniversary and they pulled out all the stops. We had a fabulous time. The food was fantastic. Definitely recommend the longhorn steaks.”
“Our third time visiting Manchester Hawksmoor, it won’t be our last. It’s definitely a treat for us but the food and experience is always amazing. We can for our 1st wedding anniversary which I had put on the online booking. Both the lady on the main door and our waitress were both aware of this and congratulated us which was really nice. We went on a Saturday and ordered from the lunch menu which is a really good price for the quality of the food. We both had the Caeser salad starter which is the best in the world and you could definitely have this for main. We both had the rump steak, beef dripping chips and a sauce each. Both cookies perfectly to our liking. The sear and crust on the steak is 11/10 delicious. We shared mushrooms and mac and cheese too which we probably didn’t need but ate the whole lot. Every mouthful was delicious. We were too full for a dessert but our waitress brought us a lovely dessert to share with Happy 1st Anniversary on it which was delicious on very thoughtful. We love it here, it’s our go to for a posh meal out and perfect for celebrating!”
“We went as a pair. We ate like kings.We each ordered a 450g Rib Eye! I think what's left on the plate is equivalent to 10g. We ate and drank good wine. The staff is wonderful! We were received and treated with great care. I was able to move around properly, due to a back problem, and the girls made sure to tell me I could use the restroom on the same floor. They saw that I was cold, and asked if she should turn off the air conditioning that was directed towards me. I've had a lot of trouble finding a good restaurant since I arrived here. And there, you've surpassed my expectations. We're used to going to great restaurants. And you've made it into our top favorites. Thank you so much !”
“We chose the set menu and had a really enjoyable meal. The food was well cooked, the portions were generous and everything arrived at a good pace. What stood out most was the service: genuinely welcoming, attentive throughout and very professional without being over the top. The only thing worth knowing is that sauces for the meat are ordered separately, so the final bill can be a little higher than you may expect from the menu price. It is not necessarily unreasonable, but it would be clearer if this was more explicit. Overall, though, a very good experience and a place I would happily return to.”
“Lovely nice meal, just one thing I had monkfish and there was no asparagus available, so I was served cabbage as an alternative which doesn’t particularly go with monkfish I would have preferred a salad or Mediterranean vegetables. The monkfish was lovely and my partners rib eye was delicious and I loved the complimentary drinks on a Happy Birthday plate which I thought was a nice touch. Overall we had a great time just the issue with the cabbage.”
