“Have a two night stay at the Jefferson in Richmond, this hotel is both historic and amazingly beautiful inside. Our standard two queen room is large and spacious, the service has been fantastic, the restaurant is great, and the historical charm of this property is off the charts. It's truly a 5 star experience staying here!”

“Very good service, high quality bed and linens, good toiletries, beautiful and spacious rooms. Unpretentious and a bit of fun history. Lovely indoor heated saltwater pool. Would definitely stay again. This is a big step up from the nearby Hilton graduate for mature adults and families.”

“My wife and I had a room block at The Jefferson for our wedding in May. We stayed in the Presidential Suite, which was easily the nicest hotel suite we have ever stayed in. The entire interior of the hotel is stunning, historic, and unforgettable. The service is truly 5-star. We had our rehearsal dinner at Le Maire, and a welcome party in the Rotunda. All of guests were extremely impressed with the food, service, and atmosphere. The hotel's location to other hotspots in Richmond was also a huge plus. Would highly recommend The Jefferson to anyone who wants to stay at the nicest spot in town!”

“There is so much history in this beautiful hotel. Architectural features like none you've seen before. Christmas decorations create their own childlike magic! Tallest Christmas tree I've ever seen and a life size gingerbread house! Every inch of holiday decorations will amaze you. It's a special treat to stay at the Jefferson anytime, but Christmas is magical! Rooms gorgeous with huge soaking tubs and a TV in the bathroom!”

“I recently had a friend stay at this hotel, and while it did have a few small perks, the overall experience was disappointing especially when it came to room service. Throughout her stay, she complained multiple times about the quality of the food and how certain dishes did not match what was listed on the menu. Some meals arrived late, cold, or poorly prepared, and portions were inconsistent. There were also times when orders were missing items or were incorrect. She did speak with a room service employee, who suggested she contact the manager. However, after hearing negative comments from staff and other guests about how rude and unprofessional the manager could be, she decided not to pursue it further. No guest should feel discouraged from speaking up about issues because of fear of being treated poorly. In addition, communication was slow, calls to room service often went unanswered, and when someone did respond, they seemed rushed and uninterested in helping. For the price of this hotel, better service and accountability should be expected!!!! I’m leaving this honest review to warn others. If you decide to stay here and plan to use room service, be very vigilant and prepared for possible issues. Based on what my friend experienced, this hotel needs serious improvement in customer service and food quality”
