Laura Lee's is an updated take on the American fern bar. Our space is comfortable and lovely, with living walls, padded chairs and semi-circular booths, a classic mirrored bar, and a backyard garden patio. We are open for dinner every night of the week and for brunch on Saturday & Sunday.
“Have been meaning to try LL's for years, and am now kicking myself for sleeping on this place. Start to finish, very pleased with the flavors of both food and drink (Mezcal lovers, the Plantasia is everything you want in a cocktail!). Love the hand-crafted serving ware and everything within was deeply delicious. Like most restaurants these days using converted spaces, the hard floors, walls and ceiling make for a somewhat loud environment (it was Saturday night), but the energy is definitely a bistro vibe. Will be back soon and def recommend!!”
“Super delicious food with a laid-back atmosphere for a Saturday brunch. Thank you for an excellent experience”
“Wow! A lovely neighborhood restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. We had drinks and appetizers at the bar. (Catch their Happy Hour specials 5-7) Sat at a table for our meal which was delicious. The staff was extremely accommodating as we arrived with no reservations( highly recommended for the weekend) Must haves: cornbread, Mac and cheese, chicken sandwich! The double cheeseburger was also outstanding. Very accommodating to food restrictions. Lots of gluten free options.”
“My first visit to Laura Lee's and I will be back. Overall four stars because the portion size for the price was very petite. I started out with the oyster appetizer and though it's only enough for one person, it was delicious and seasoned to perfection for me. I did request that they fry them to a crunch. My main course was the crab and cheese grits and, again, it didn't disappoint in taste. I was not happy with the portion of the crabcakes. It was more like an appetizer size for $28. The grits were smooth and creamy with just a hint of cheese. Overall, great experience.”
“Cute place but it’s a bit out of nowhere. It was quiet when we went at a weeknight. Only two tables were dining there. The service is great, the waiter is very patient and friendly. The food is good but not great. I had the seared scallops, the scallops are big but I don’t get why it sits on the bowl of soup, and the soup is also too salty. I might come back to try other dishes, the menu looks pretty interesting.”
