“It was good & tasty. Would be better to put 1 big slice tomato, in order to make it comfortable to eat instead of three small. And maybe better to add less oil , I would love to have more flavor in my bagel .”
“Love. Hard not to compare this to their next-door neighbors, Layla. I do love that they have a bagel called “the Layla”. Love the food and the vibes, easier to get seating on a weekday, but the weekend is doable with a little wait. The food absolutely slaps. Limited coffee/matcha selection, but coffee is good! The bread is really where it’s at, this place is all about bread. It’s a cool vibe to pick up bread to take home. Great selection here.”
“We were on a trip to LA and visiting this area. This place is absolutely rocking. Having access to Bagels in NYCyou are spoilt for choice and skeptical about trying it on the west coast! They do a fab job! The bagel is huge! You could share it with a party of two and get other bites on the menu! We got poppy seed, scallion cream cheese tomato bagel. They had sprinkled lemon salt on top? Yummy!! The cream cheese was not too light, not too heavy. The bagel was the right amount of chewy & crunchy on the outside. Got the Banana bread and oatmeal cookie as well. Both of them were large in size and delicious. The banana bread wasn't crazy sweet. We saved some for dessert to have later in the day. The capucinno was good as well. I am glad to have picked this place. There was plenty parking on a Friday morning.”
“HELLO THE BAGEL IS HUGE?? I find it extremely fascinating how Layla Bagels is right next door, although after having tried Jyan Isaac, I think they serve different audiences. Jyan Isaac has more diverse offerings beyond bagels, from bread to pastries, and their cream cheese is absolutely heavenly with its stronger flavor, reminiscent of Courage Bagels’ cream cheese. The combination of everything actually on the bagel wins the Layla Laika but there’s definitely still some room for improvement in the produce quality when compared to their competitor next door. However, there is no line here and a lot more seating while still capturing the vast majority of the bagel-eating experience!”
“I used to love their bagels, but this time it was honestly a joke. They used to be generous with the toppings, but now I got one single, very very thin slice of salmon on the entire bagel. For $18, that’s just ridiculous. It’s nowhere near what it used to be, and I definitely won’t be coming back for an overpriced bagel with barely anything on it.”
