“We tried the 5 course vegetarian tasting menu and it was fantastic. Clearly they put a lot of thought in designing the vegetarian menu, which is not always the case, even in fancy restaurants. Each dish was prepared and served to perfection. The wait staff was friendly, professional, and explained all the courses. We had a great time.”

“Margot definitely deserves the praise as it really strives to earn your favor. We had 5 o’clock reservations. Fine of the evening. The doors opened promptly and we were seated right away. Our server came over almost immediately, introducing himself and explained the ordering and took our drink order. My martini was seriously the best, the coldest martini I can recall having - and I keep my vodka in the freezer. The wine selection was limited but they were great choices. the interior is very chic and amazingly, even with all the hard surfaces, the noise level was such that you can carry on a conversation at your 2-top without feeling like you were sharing with the room. we had the tasting menu. it was well thought out and very varied. oysters. tuna. beef. salad. the sauces were prepared spot on. the dishes were brought out in a relaxed timing fashion and we never felt at all rushed. Chef came out to see how everything was prepared, which is always a nice classy touch. this a wonderful addition to South Pearl St. now if he will open an Italian place to compliment it! its a special place i highly recommend.”
