“Incredible food, service and venue! Nuovo hosted our Christmas party two days ago and this restaurant did not disappoint. The cocktails and wine selections were fantastic. We had a tapas style menu, with portion sizes and choices of dishes were amazing! Every single dish was delicious. A huge kudos to the waiters and Stuart who have created an Italian gem in Northampton. Thank you.”

“This was my first visit to Nuovo, and I am impressed. I first saw the menu online and noticed the carbonara had guanciale in it. When I arrived, I checked with the waitress, as I’ve been burned before by “guanciale” that ended up being pancetta, however, the carbonara was in fact guanciale which is rare! The food comes as small plates (cicchetti) and we ordered 6 savoury plates in total which was enough for 2 people. The food was tasty, and the waitress was super attentive. We also had a dessert each, and both plates were delicious. The only thing I noticed, there was a bizarre smell when we first arrived, it wasn’t strong but enough to notice it. Even so, I will be returning again!”

“Nuovo has been a personal ‘want to go’ for a while, and I finally made the trip to go a few weeks back. The food was great for the most part. The braised beef was definitely the highlight of the meal for me. The Fried Calamari was a little bit bland, but still quite enjoyable. Wasnt a big fan of the fried risotto, but this may have been due to personal preference. The beef carpaccio was a lovely start to our meal. All in all, worth visiting if you are wanting somewhere to eat. The prices are a little more on the high end, but still quite enjoyable”
