Palma is nested on quaint Cornelia Street in the heart of Greenwich Village, with a hidden garden filled with fresh flowers in all seasons and a 200-year-old Carriage House for private dining in an elegant yet warm setting. White Stucco walls, beamed ceilings, a salvaged chestnut door & a beautiful garden with ivy-covered walls create an atmosphere where people relax and enjoy life with food and wine. Palma is an organic Italian restaurant, offering a taste of Italian clean food since April 2001. We stay true to generations of our family's cherished recipes and techniques. Our ingredients arrive fresh each day from Palma's garden and local markets. The menu highlights housemade pastas, fresh seafood and seasonal produce.
“Lunch at Palma on Cornelia Street was nothing short of enchanting. Tucked away from the city's relentless pace, Palma offers a midday escape that feels equal parts sophisticated and serene. Sunlight filtered through the charming space, conversations hummed softly in the background, and every detail invited us to linger just a little longer. The cuisine was exceptional—beautifully prepared, thoughtfully presented, and imbued with the kind of understated elegance that allows outstanding ingredients to shine. Yet what truly distinguished the experience was Guillaume. With remarkable attentiveness and effortless grace, Guillaume is a genie, a wish granter of sorts, who elevated our lunch from lovely to unforgettable. He seemed to anticipate our needs before we voiced them, offering thoughtful suggestions, ensuring impeccable timing, and attending to every detail with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. His hospitality never felt rehearsed; rather, it conveyed a sincere desire to make our afternoon as memorable and enjoyable as possible. In an era when true hospitality can feel increasingly rare, Guillaume reminded us what it means to be genuinely cared for as guests. His intuition, professionalism, and kindness transformed a wonderful meal into an extraordinary experience. Palma is a gem in the West Village, but it is people like Guillaume who give it its soul. We arrived expecting a delightful lunch and departed feeling thoroughly charmed, already anticipating our return.”
“Palma is genuinely one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. From the moment you walk in, it feels like you've been transported to Italy. Every corner of the restaurant is stunning, but my favorite part was the garden terrace in the back. It feels like a hidden oasis and a little piece of Italy right in the middle of New York City. I started with the watermelon salad, which was fresh, flavorful, and perfect for a summer day. I also ordered a Ghia Spritz, and it was one of my favorite non-alcoholic drinks I've had in a long time. Refreshing, balanced, and the perfect pairing for the meal. For my main course, I had the gluten-free Fettuccine ai Funghi e Tartufo, and it was absolutely delicious. Rich, comforting, and full of flavor. It's one of those dishes that stays in your memory long after the meal is over, and I would order it again without hesitation. Unfortunately, I was too full to try dessert, which is probably my only regret. It just means I'll have to come back the next time I'm in NYC, and honestly, Palma is already at the top of my list of places to revisit. The service was wonderful throughout the meal, and I especially loved the warm atmosphere of the restaurant. You can really feel that it's a family-run business, and that personal touch makes the experience even more special.”
“My wife and I dined at Palma on May 10 and had one of the best dining experiences of our lives. The atmosphere was great, we were sat in the greenhouse, and the vibe was very lively, but still extremely easy to chat through the meal. Our service was absolutely fantastic! The entire weight staff was extremely alert and very prompt at refilling water and cleaning up dishes in between courses. Our Server Adam D Was magnificent! The food was so good that we ended up ordering more than we originally planned because we knew that we couldn’t pass up the opportunity while we were there. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that is visiting or that lives in the city.”
“Palma is one of those rare places that instantly feels like home the moment you walk in—like you’ve been invited into an Italian family’s dining room for the night. The warmth here is real. The team is genuinely welcoming, friendly, and attentive in a way that never feels forced—just effortless hospitality that makes you want to linger a little longer. And then there’s the food. We started with the focaccia and cecina—both incredible, simple in the best way, and full of flavor. The Fettuccine ai Funghi e Tartufo was rich, perfectly balanced, and deeply comforting, while the eggplant parmigiana was everything you want it to be—absolutely delicious. The tiramisu and chocolate mousse were the perfect ending to the meal. Everything about Palma—from the cooking to the atmosphere to the people—feels thoughtful, authentic, and full of heart. It’s the kind of place you leave already planning your next visit. Absolutely loved it. 🇮🇹✨”
“We celebrated my cousin's birthday on a Saturday afternoon at Parma. The staff was lovely and very professional. The crispy artichokes, meatballs and focaccia were a great way to start. All of our meals... gnocchi, eggplant parm, chicken & salad, lobster & pasta and pasta funghi were absolutely delicious. The atmosphere was enchanting and relaxed. The tiramisu, torte capresa, lemon cream puffs, ice cream with espresso and cappuccino were light and decadent. This is perfect place for a girly gathering or a romantic date. It's rustic and charming. The real plants and fresh cut flowers are reminiscent of a garden trattoria in Tuscany.”
