“I’ve dined here a few times over the years and I’ve never been disappointed. Sunday was no different. The wild garlic soup with snails and croutons was sumptuous. Great depth of flavour with silky texture and the snails were a million miles away from the chewy garlic nuggets that people accuse l’escargot of being. They were tender bites of umami. The veal main was delicious. However it was the creamed cabbage laden with garlic and the delicious roast squash that made the dish and I am carnivore bias.”

The food is spectacular, and very reasonable price wise for the quality offered. Service was impeccable, polite and prompt. They pay attention to detail, that makes the difference! “Almost perfect dining experience - delicious food (classic, but each dish had a tiny unexpected tweak such as pickled cucumber with lobster raviolo that made it special) and perfect service. The sommelier helped us pick a wine that matched both our main courses very well. Our one regret is we didn't get the cheese, which looked delicious. Next time!”

The price is not that high given the quality of the service, the length of the meal, and comparing to other restaurants in London where you are going to spend £50 whatever you have... Overall, an amazing experience for a special occasion.”
