“Harry’s Steakhouse in Grand Forks delivers a really memorable dining experience. The atmosphere feels warm, stylish, and a little upscale, with a cozy bar area and plenty of attention to presentation. The menu has a lot of variety, from classic steaks and lobster appetizers to hibachi-style dishes and comforting sides, so there’s something for every craving. The food looked beautifully prepared and the portions seemed generous, and the service is clearly a big reason people keep coming back. It’s on the pricier side, but for a special night out, anniversary, or birthday dinner, it feels well worth it. I’d definitely return.”
“My husband had the fillet and he said it was excellent. I had the prime rib and I have to say I was somewhat disappointed - it was not nearly as tender as the filet and I would only rate it average. I also did not care for the flavor of the au jus served with the prime rib. We had a shareable side of sweet potato casserole and that was excellent. Diners should be aware that the prices for the steaks do not include side dishes - those have to be ordered separately. Reservations would be recommended as we had to wait half an hour for a table as a walk-in on a Tuesday evening. Our server was very attentive so I would definitely rate the service as excellent.”
“Lower light, cloth tablecloths, nice silverware, elegant feel. Nice presentation, small-medium sized restaurant. Prices match the presentation. You pick an entree, then you have to order shareable sides for the table. If you have the wallet, worth the visit! It is possible to get a table without a reservation, but don't count on it!”
“Service was absolutely great and the food was awesome. Can be a bit pricey but was well worth it and would go again. I got the Bison Filet and it was cooked to perfection. Our server was awesome as well. The smoked old fashions were one of the best I’ve had, and the price on those were surprisingly inexpensive.”
“I had dinner with a few of my girlfriends for my birthday a couple of nights ago. We had the room off to the left for privacy, which was really nice. Our server was the best...she was picking up what we were throwing down (figure of speech) & that made the evening fun!! She made us feel so welcomed. All of us enjoyed our meals and our appetizers, and I said yes to the banana tiramisu for my birthday dessert, it was not too sweet-but had enough flavor that kept me satisfied --which is just how Mama likes. 😉😍 I ordered the shrimp scampi, and we also tried the hash browns, the onion rings, the lobster dip, the asparagus and the sweet potatoes. (If my shrimp scampi had homemade pasta that would have taken it to that next level. But that's not the norm for what you're going to get at restaurants here in our city & the pasta was a locally sourced brand). If you like shrimp scampi and you're craving it then order it. My friend said adding pecans to the sweet potatoes would have made her feel exactly like she was back home, down south. The asparagus were norm for how most people eat them. The lobster dip was tasty as well, I've had better, but if you like lobster dip then you'll enjoy it--has a little sweet taste too 😘. One of my friends had the stroganoff with beef, I tasted some of that and it felt very comforting. My other friends said their steak and walleye hit the spot and another that had the French onion soup said it was delicious. I will say that for restaurants here it is one of our top in our city. The ambiance is very nice as well. And I have to give a special shot out to the onion rings, they were a definite hit!”
