“Just book your reservation!! My partner and I came here for our late night date night and it turned out to be even better than we thought! The service was fantastic! Everyone is so tentative and welcoming. We got the onion soup OMG. The filet with peppercorn sauce 10/10. Our martinis were Devine! We live 6 hours away and are already planning on coming back! The vibes were great. If you like mood lighting and red velvet this is for you 🤗❤️”
“We absolutely love dining at Harry’s. The food is incredible and we’re always greeted like family. Oma, Mario and Anna provide unmatched service. They are simply the best! We Always look forward to our next visit ! Oma is the best server I’ve ever had at any restaurant. It’s a pleasure to sit with him. Every dish, including dessert, is not just good. Its exceptional! Great, cozy vibe as well and The beef Wellington is the best you’ll ever have. Highly recommended!”
“I had a wonderful time having dinner at this amazing place called Harry's in New York City! Wow, this place can accommodate any party size. The staff was amazing and very friendly. The service was impeccable! The food was succulent. My New York Strip was delicious, juicy, and cooked to perfection, as I ordered it. It was seasoned well and I enjoyed it all! The drinks were tasty (wine & margaritas). The appetizers were delicious (we had all of the choices). The sides were delicious (mac & cheese, asparagus, crab cake, oysters, shrimp, etc) and the apple dessert with vanilla ice cream was delicious! We had a private room in the back with a great bartender. He was amazing and friendly. I am still talking about the experience at Harry's now that I'm back in South Carolina! Thank you all for helping us with having a wonderful dinner and time together!! ❤️”
“I went to Harry's for my birthday because I heard the beef wellington was great. Unfortuntely, I didn't agree with that sentiment. The mushroom duxelle didn't wrap around the whole tenderloin, which I wasnt a fan of. However, everything else was good. The special soup of the day--which was a mushroom soup--was incredible and very hardy. The steak tartare was delicious, as was the toast that came with it (personally, the lettuce wasn't necessary). The cream spinach was great and I appreciated the fact that the taste wasn't overpowered by nutmeg. The Mac and cheese and mashed potatoes were pretty good, too. The servers were great and attentive and the ambiance was dark, which I love. Besides the beef wellington hiccup, I enjoyed everything wlse.”
“Very disappointing experience. I ordered the Beef Wellington as my entrée, and my partner ordered the NY strip steak with several sides. When the food arrived, the pastry on my Beef Wellington was clearly undercooked- wet, soggy, and not properly baked. I asked the waiter to check it, and they took it back to the chef and apologized. Meanwhile, all the food on the table was getting cold, and my partner was waiting as well. When they brought it back, it was basically the same Beef Wellington with the same wet, soggy pastry. The waiter asked how it was, and I said it was fine only because I didn’t want my partner to wait any longer. But honestly, for a $76 entrée, the kitchen should know how to cook it properly- or simply not put it on the menu. The appetizers, including the crab cake and salad, were good, but the dessert was just ok. The chocolate cake tasted dry, almost like it had been sitting in the refrigerator for days. What made the experience even more frustrating was that when the bill arrived, the waiter asked us to check it to make sure everything was included- and everything was. Nothing was taken off, not even a dessert or small gesture for the long wait and poorly prepared entrée. The total for two people, with tip, was around $480. For that price, I expect much better food, better service recovery, and a kitchen that knows how to execute its signature dishes properly.”
