“My wife and I enjoyed an amazing date night dinner at II Mulino this past weekend. The food was amazing and the service was just as good. I rarely leave reviews, but this was needed. Thank You!”
“If you’re in Atlantic City, Il Mulino deserves a spot on your must-visit list. From the moment I walked in, the space felt sexy, polished, and effortlessly inviting. First Impressions: Gorgeous ambiance and flawless hospitality. Major shoutout to Geri (manager) for the warm welcome and ongoing check-ins, plus my servers Geri & Osmar, who handled my indecision with grace and patience. Upon entry, you’re offered a choice between the dimly lit/date night side or slightly brighter, bar/lounge side with speakeasy vibes. I chose the latter. Service: Absolutely top-tier. Even with large parties surrounding me, I was treated like a prioritized guest. Every staff member checked in at least once, making solo dining feel thoughtful and elevated. Food & Drinks: The ghost margaritas are unforgettable, and the grappa is a must-try. Complimentary treats were next-level: the zucchini chips had me hooked (I even asked for some to take home), and the bruschetta was a bright, refreshing delight with the perfect tomato freshness. The lobster ravioli was divine, and the cacio e pepe was outstanding. Portions are generous, so be prepared to take some home, especially if you’re splitting your attention between two pasta dishes. Timing & Experience: 25/10. Even on a busy convention evening, service was seamless and attentive. Issues: None. Verdict: Whether you’re staying at the Hard Rock or just visiting Atlantic City, this is a dining experience you don’t want to miss—elegant, flavorful, and effortlessly impressive.”
“I would give it a 10 if I could. The restaurant goes above and beyond. When I first walked in they asked if I preferred the right side which is more romantic and dimmed lights or the left which is brighter. I chose the romantic side. After the beverage service, they restaurant offers a few different kinds of breads, which you can try all of them after that they give you bruschetta followed by fried zucchini .. absolutely tasty and delicious, Since I was headed to an event. I preferred to eat light, I opted for a delicious salad with mango which was on the specials menu! No room for dessert. However the house offered me an Italian moonshine. Omg to die for! So good… a shot glass of that left me warm and toasty on such a cold, blustery night. Definitely will go again. Service was impeccable!”
“We came to Atlantic City to celebrate our anniversary. We decided to choose one of the fine dining spots and saw some of the reviews for this place and decided to try it. What an excellent choice! We were provided one of the best service I've ever seen at a restaurant by Wayne. He not only suggested some excellent menu choices but also showed off some skills by taking some great photos of us for our anniversary. The restaurant also gave us an anniversary card along side with some other samplers, a great touch. My wife is not much of an Italian food fan, but this restaurant changed her mind. We highly recommend this place and the great service that was provided by Wayne and the rest of the staff.”
“The place is nice but the food is not good and this had to be the worst espresso martini of my life We ordered the meatballs, eggplant and the beet salad. Only the beet salad was good. The eggplant was inedible and eggplant Parmesan is one of my favorite dishes. It was oily and just no… the meatball was basic. The espresso martini was undrinkable and they made me another. It was super bitter and it tasted burnt. It was very pretty tho! Then I tasted it and was very disappointed. Giving 2* for the ambiance way too expensive for not great food. We sat at the bar and the bartender was kind of weird. Maybe her hearing is bad… anyway, way better places to eat in AC for sure P.s. they charge for the Parmesan chunks now… a little notice would have been welcome”
