“Stopped in for dinner for our first stop from NH to NC. Was blown away. Got the chef’s tasting menu (usually choose this option when it’s available at restaurants) everything was delightful. Great cocktails and wine selection. We were seated right at the waterfall and it was an amazing dinner and atmosphere!”
“What a great experience! I went here with my dad and his fiancée for my birthday. They’ve been here before, and wanted to surprise me to a great experience. Upon walking in, I was immediately struck in awe by how lovely the decor looked. The place looked much bigger than it seemed from outside, and there’s even a view of the waterfall. This place is beautiful!! I believe our waiter’s name was Don, and he was an excellent waiter. He even gave us champagne for my birthday! And not only did he provided us champagne, he gave me an alcohol free one as I also cannot drink. I also ordered the Cos-no which was a mocktail of their cosmo. The service he provided was great! making sure our table was cleared and clean with new silverware, and even removed any other crumb or debris that would be on the table. I mean, what great service that is!! Of course the prices here more on the expensive side, but you are totally getting a great experience out of it. The food was also so good! I got the half chicken and a side of fries that came with a garlic aioli sauce, which became one of my favorite sauces to exist. And for the dessert, I ordered a tiramisu. Which was also amazing! They even have a happy birthday message on the plate. I forgot to mention as well that they even give you a birthday card for your birthday. Which I think is super nice of them to do that! I’m 110% coming back here with friends or even my family. This experience deserves more than 5 stars!”
“We went here for a birthday brunch with two adults and a toddler. The restaurant was helpful about the toddler and had a high chair. The adults food was great, and both the cocktail and mocktail were delicious. The brisket hash was surprisingly just brisket underneath -- tasty, I was just expecting potatoes too or something. The stuffed French toast was rich and moist. Unfortunately the kid meal pancake was quite burned. The restaurant comped us the meal. The real standout here is the beautiful space. Service was also good, but our meal for some reason was very slow to come out-- all the tables who arrived after us got served first. Not a huge problem normally but challenging with a toddler. The bill was also quite reasonable for a nice place like this. We would like to come back and check out their dinner. Overall a nice meal, just not perfect.”
“We went with the Tasting Menu, which gave us 6 courses. Started off with cornmeal biscuits(which were very good) and ahi tuna. We then got an item that wasn’t on the menu in the Lobster Bisque dumplings which were good as well. Next was a brown bread topped with foie gras mousse, was not a big fan of this course. Next we had a seared tuna with German potatoes which was very good, although disappointing to get two tuna dishes in a tasting menu when they had other fish available on the menu. Next was a lamb with yogurt sauce which was the best dish in my opinion. Lastly was an eclair with lemon cream, which was slightly overwhelming but a satisfactory end to the tasting.”
“I Visited this cute restaurant for a surprise engagement. 10 guess we're invited. We started off with tavern wings and oysters as appetizers. The tavern wings were sweet chili flavored and were delicious. I also ordered a sugar plum 1911 hard cider, which was delicious. Then We ordered off a special menu that they offer on Tuesdays nights. Which is 3 COURSE PRIX FIXE For / $50 per person To start | had the Ricotta Ravioli - (honey nut squash, pumpkin seed granola) it wasn't bad but just not my cup of tea. For my main course I ordered the Half Chicken -(caulilini, broccolini, almonds, lemon jus) and it was delicious. Last but not least for dessert I ordered the Chocolate Turtle Cake - (salted caramel, pecan nougatine) which was amazing! Actually was my favorite dish! Our waitress was helpful and attentive to our table. Food was delicious and ambience was just right.”
