“We stayed at Royal Palms Resort & Spa while attending a convention in Scottsdale and it was such an incredible experience. The entire property has a very elevated, relaxing atmosphere and feels like a hidden luxury retreat tucked away from the city. The amenities were excellent, the food was incredible, and the level of service throughout our stay really stood out. Every staff interaction felt warm, professional, and thoughtful which made the experience feel even more special. The grounds and overall design of the resort are absolutely beautiful with such a calm, upscale feel throughout the property. You can tell a lot of attention goes into maintaining the experience for guests. If you’re looking for a luxury resort in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area whether for business, a convention, or just a relaxing getaway, Royal Palms is absolutely worth considering.”
“This hotel is rated by Michelin with the new hotel category. The beds/pillows are very comfy. Rooms are large and the facility in general is nice and has an authentic feel. We used the gym everyday and it could use a little sprucing up along with a deep clean. The pool is open all day however the bar closes at 5. So if you have a work function and then want to hang out by the pool bar that’s probably not gonna happen. You have to text room service and they deliver your order to the pool. Not ideal. But overall I would stay again.”
“This resort was one of my first destinations when I began to explore luxury travel. After having stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels and resorts around the world, I still could not forget their warm welcome, the stunningly scenic and beautiful resort, and the cozy suite they generously upgraded me (never got upgraded to a premium suite without a loyalty account). The resort is so beautifully designed and filled with history. It's not very big, but I got lost because there's so much beauty to explore in every corner. I took so many walks around the property because every walk was so scenic. It was unforgettable, and I have yet to find another property in the US to match the beauty of this resort. I know I used "beauty" a lot, because that's the one big word I can't pop out of my head whenever I recall this stay. Anyways, I think I'll be revisiting many times in the future once I'm done with my international wishlists. The standards this resort set is hard to beat, and I'd say this is still the BEST hotel/resort I've stayed with in the US, and top 5 globally.”
“Im on my way to check in and will update this as the stay unfolds to the review is fair. I will say so far I am not impressed with their check in system. I was told 3 weeks ago that early check in cannot be requested prior to the stay; seems outdated but ok. So I called this morning and a "room in my catagory" is available a bit earlier yes. I say wonderful. Then I inquire about a late checkout, and she says she doesnt know. I can call tomorrow morning. It feels wild that a Hilton can offer more accommodation & flexibility than a large resort.”
“I left a valuable and deeply sentimental item (a distinctive Hermès scarf) neatly folded in my room and realized it immediately after checkout - before the room had been reoccupied. I called right away and was told nothing had been turned in. I called again that night, and every day since. Each time, I received the same scripted response: they’re “in daily communication with housekeeping” and nothing was found. I asked for the room to be physically checked. I offered to send a photo to help identify the item. They said no. No additional action was taken. I understand hotels can’t guarantee recovery of every item. But when something is reported immediately and there’s still time to check the room, I expect urgency and effort - especially at this price point. Instead, I felt dismissed. The restaurant and bar were excellent. Unfortunately, due to how this was handled, I cannot recommend this hotel.”
