“What a truly special place. Spent a night here in January & it was an amazing experience. The ambiance is warm, rooms are comfortable & clean, & it really takes you back in time. The food is immaculate, beautifully presented (hats off to chef!) & the proportions were perfect. Best meal of my life! All of the staff are exceptional, especially Crystal, who is an amazing host that goes above & beyond to make your stay enjoyable. There is no doubt I'd stay here again!”
“Amazing dinner with great service. Having dessert by the fireplace was a great way to finish off the meal. The menu didn't feel particularly cohesive, but each dish was excellent on its own. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a great experience around Keystone.”
“We had a wonderful dinner at Ski Tip Lodge. The 4-course dinner was delicious, and well-presented. The cozy,, intimate ambiance made the whole experience feel special. Nick provided excellent service -- attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. It was our daughter's birthday, and she really enjoyed the staff's attentiveness! She really enjoyed her 3-course meal as well--which consisted of a fruit cup, perfectly-cooked medium rare filet and dark chocolate lava brownie sundae. A great spot for a memorable night out. Highly recommend.”
“We have eaten at the ski tip lodge restaurant 4x’s. We’ve always loved the service and attention to detail. Food is excellent. We also love that we can walk there from our home. Cocktails are delicious so this is a great perk. We were there in March and brought 2 other couples to experience this unique restaurant. One of our guests said it was the best meal of her life. Here’s where I am extremely disappointed. We purchased a home in the Alder neighborhood 8/2024. We understood that Vail (who owns the lodge) gives homeowners a discount. We were told that it was for residence only, which we assured them that we were. They even questioned that and said that there should be a rule for the discount on the number of days we stay at a property. We clearly were not believed and had been there 4 times since we bought our property. I understand that people may abuse this and I understand checks and balances. I hope this doesn’t happen to other homeowners and it’s embarrassing that this happened in front of our guests. For clarification we are summer and winter residence. Sincerely, Bob and Barb 43 Thackwell ln Keystone”
“Pre-COVID, Ski Tip restaurant was our absolute favorite dinning experience in Summit County. We went post COVID and were very disappointed. We gave it another try a few weeks ago and it has a long way to go to reach the Pre-COVID level. Cayla was wonderful, but the cuisine uninspiring. There are much better dining options in Breck for the same price. Hopefully it’s a work in progress and will not totally vanish under the weight of the new restaurants at Kindred.”
