Troddenvale produces transparency-driven cider of origin with limited to no alterations. We believe complex cider with aromatics and body can be achieved by showcasing the land and fruit from Virginia, our home. Our Cider Bar features cider tastings, as well as by the glass and bottle. We also offer a seasonal menu featuring a la carte snacks as well as a rotating weekly menu that incorporates ingredients from local farms in the surrounding area. Our Wine Shop also features curated wines available by the glass or bottle, or retail to-go. Book your tasting reservation in advance. All booking fees will be applied toward an on-site purchase. Walk-ins are welcome during open business hours; however, reservations are recommended. Private tours & tastings are available by advanced booking. “We tried this cider on a past trip but never made it to the cidery—so we were beyond excited to finally visit this week. The vibes did not disappoint! Super chill, great music, and such a relaxing, cute atmosphere. The bartender was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, the food was fantastic, and the cider? Truly some of the best I’ve ever had. Most ciders are overly sweet or full of fake sugar, but every single one here was beautifully crafted and delicious. While the cider blew me away, my absolute favorite part might’ve been Fanny, the cider dog. She is *the* most precious thing in the world. Even with a busy crowd, she would just flop down and nap like a queen. I’m obsessed. Please give her lots of gentle head pats if you see her—she’s such a good girl. Thanks again for the amazing experience. We can’t wait to come back for more great cider and hopefully another visit with Fanny!”
“I made reservations here for my husband and I, and my goodness- this place has so much charm! The space is beautiful, the food was great, and the ciders were amazing! Everyone was very knowledgeable and most ingredients and products sold are local to the area. We tried the flight and had to take a bottle home. 10/10 would recommend!!!”
