“Oh what an INCREDIBLE experience this was! I went to TUJU for a 10 course experience on 25th of April and was mainly assisted by Natalie during my experience. I also remember Rodriguez by name and another very friendly assistant that made this experience an unforgettable one for me. I booked my lunch only a week before they received their 3rd star, and believe me when I say, this was worth every-single-penny, and even a few times more than what I paid for it in the end. The 3rd course of the servings took me back to the times of my life where I still had the innocence of my childhood at the end of 1990s, and shortly after, lost those days as I lost my father suddenly in a car accident. And the "TOMATO" course reminded me of my late grandmother who would never use anything with salsa but only with fresh tomato instead. I also lost her in October 2022. All the courses, including the INCREDIBLE dessert with mango, were superb. Natalia's service and Rodriguez's attention to my needs during the meal was unmatched. And I couldn't be happier than I've been, making TUJU my first ever 3 Michelin starred experience. I wish nothing but the best to the whole team of this incredible restaurant. And for every name that made this experience to achieve even the most unimaginable goals they have for their careers. And in the meantime, I can't recommend this whole experience enough for those who might be second guessing booking theirs, for whatever reason. I'm crossing my fingers that my equally valuable experiences worldwide match the satisfaction I received from this one. And in the meantime, I'm forever grateful to every single person that served me that day. "Obrigado" from the bottom of my heart! And see you soon with another menu, another time!”
“As far as dining experiences go, this is hard to beat (we much preferred this to D.O.M.). The entire set up is very well thought through and the design and decor of the experience is excellent, I say experience rather than restaurant because simply calling it a restaurant is a disservice to the concept they've created. The food (as expected) was fantastic, as was the service team. It's ridiculously expensive for Brazil, but we enjoyed every aspect and had a wonderful evening so would recommend for those who enjoy the experience of a meal as much as the food itself and aren't on a budget.”
“Just landed in São Paulo and went straight to TUJU to collect 2 stars (+1 green star), the final fine dining stop of this trip. TUJU is a modern Brazilian restaurant that sources everything locally and serves up a 10+ course tasting menu that leaves you full… and then fuller. My favorite part? The open kitchen concept—you get front row seats to the chefs working with such focus in this bright, airy space. Almost every dish was a hit: fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked meat, and a few plates with a surprising bitterness I couldn’t quite place. Overall, an amazing experience.”
“Tuju was a beautiful experience. With the first bite my partner and I knew we were in for a phenomenal experience. I'm newish to fine dining (eaten two 1 stars and two 2 stars) and this was far and beyond the most special meal I've had in my life. I began tearing up by the second course because the love and care the team put in the experience was so moving. It's not just food, this is art. My partner has eaten at a couple dozen Michelin star restaurants and says this was the third best dining experience in his life (Osteria Francescana and Quintonill coming in at one and two). Come here hungry and leave with a full stomach and heart. Thank you to the Tuju team. This meal was amazing and I'll remember it til the end of my days.”
“If they had 6 stars I would have given them. A superbly sophisticated restaurant is a beautiful and super modern 2 storey building. You start with an aperitif and amuse bouche in the garden at the ground floor and then you move to the first floor for the 10-course unforgettable experience. All 10 courses were tasty, fresh, inventive and very thoughfully created. We loved them all. The service was like a ticking Swiss watch. The presentation impeccable. Its not a cheap restaurant but I would go back again and again.”
