Zigle - Korean Bulgogi Restaurant

“My new favourite Korean place!! If you’re in Sherwood Park and love Korean food, Zigle is a must! I always start with the soju flight, which is such a fun way to try different flavours and kick off the meal. For apps, I always do the kimchi fries and the zigle salad. The kimchi fries are unreal! They’re so crispy and flavourful. And the zigle salad is really refreshing, making them the perfect contrast. For the main, we always order the bulgogi for two, and it never disappoints. The meat is tender and well marinated, with generous portions that make it great for sharing. Your server also comes and cooks it for you and lets you know when it’s done. I love their service and their food. Highly recommend!”

“DUDEEE this place was so incredible wow, i didn’t even grow up with korean food but the sweet chilli tofu brought me back to my childhood, like that one scene from ratatouille. the cheese tteokbokki was incredible. very good vegan selection, and easy to edit the dishes to make them vegetarian. great prices as well. staff was so lovely and kind. highly recommend!! i’ll absolutely be back and bringing every single person i know”

“Another amazing gem we found on Google! We live in the West end of Edmonton, and there's so many great finds lately, and this is for sure one of them. It was a little bit of a drive but definitely worth it. Really delicious and authentic Korean food with an artistic flair. The flavors were fresh and unique. It's too bad we only tried the lunch menu, but it was a great place to start. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of the dinner menu. I had the pork rice bowl and my fiance had the bulgogi bowl and we ordered a spicy chicken noodle soup as well. We also had a hazelnut coffee which was delicious. The service was fast and attentive. The restaurant was amazingly clean and spacious. There was lots of parking when we were there but it just opened. I Would highly recommend if you like Korean food. Probably one of the best Korean restaurant I've been to in the Edmonton area! 👏🤗🤤🙂”

“Nothing to complain about the venue. It is a clean restaurant and service is good. The only thing I can’t give a 5-Star is the food. Don’t get me wrong, my order was not bad. However, my expectation from a 4.9-Star restaurant is high. Zigle’s dishes are westernized. For the price, it is good. But for to earn a 5-Star review, it has room to improve. For instant, I expect the crispy chicken is hot and crispy. But the dish I ordered is not.”

“Overall we had a great experience here. Very clean and modern dining area. Service was excellent with the tablet ordering system, it really cut down any unnecessary wait times. The washrooms were also very clean. We ordered the Sweet Chili Crispy Chicken, Bulgogi Bokkeum Bap, Bulgogi Gungjung Ttekbokki, Peach Blossom (cocktail), and Piña Aurora (cocktail). The flavor was excellent on everything. The reason I'm giving 4/5 stars is because of the lack of meat when mixed with beef. In my Bokkeum Bap I had about 1/4 of an onion mixed into my protein leaving it a lot less meat than expected. I don't digest onions well so that amount was quite excessive for me. The drinks were both good with the Piña Aurora being the sweeter of the two.”
