Chef Minh's *Chef's Choice Omakase* at Zushi was absolutely incredible. Every piece of sushi was fresh, beautifully crafted, and packed with flavor. I've been thinking about this meal all week, and it was worth every minute of the wait! A big thank you to **Chef Minh** and **Ann** for another amazing dining experience. “I almost don’t want to write this review because I’m scared it will become even harder to get a reservation but credit absolutely needs to be given to Zushi Calgary. Hidden inside Avenida Market in south Calgary, this tiny 4-seat omakase experience feels like stepping into a cozy Tokyo Tsukiji Market. We were lucky enough to book the Omakase experience for 4 adults, and every moment was unforgettable. If you are looking for a luxury fine dining room with fancy decor and white tablecloths, this is probably not it and that is exactly why we loved it so much. It feels authentic, like sitting inside a hidden fish market sushi spot in Tokyo 築地 where the entire focus is on the chef, the fish, and the experience itself. The chef carefully prepared and plated each piece of sushi like a work of art. Not only was everything visually stunning, but the umami flavors were absolutely mouthwatering .Every bite felt like a masterpiece. This experience left us so happy and satisfied, and we even ordered extra scallops and salmon because they were just that incredible. What surprised us even more was how reasonable the pricing was for this intimate omakase experience. Every single plate was thoughtfully crafted, and you can truly feel the passion and care behind the experience. We left with full stomachs, huge smiles, and immediately booked our next omakase for next month already.”

“Had the omakase recently at Zushi and it was a great experience. The sushi they served was very good - the wife and I really enjoyed it. Favourites were the tuna with truffle oil, and the grilled shrimp topped with tuna belly. Service was super friendly. Would definitely go back for more”

“I’ve been to Zushi a several times now with the Omakasi experience. We were greeted with so much warmth and enthusiasm every single time by Ann and Chef Minh. Food is amazing, and the miso soup is probably the best I’ve ever had. It’s really good value and it’s definitely a unique experience. Highly recommend!”

“Hello!!!! I went to Zushi for my anniversary with my partner and we both loved our experience! Immediately, the atmosphere is warm, intimate, and very welcoming. Though there are many other vendors around, once you’re seated it truly feels like you’re in your own world with your loved ones and the chefs. We had the 11 course omakase, and I can confidently say every single bite was absolutely delicious! Beautifully presented, perfectly balanced flavours, and very filling! I’m hoping to come back here again with my family and friends and I’d recommend it to anyone who loves high quality sushi and a one of a kind experience. Chef Min, and Chef Hai-hon, and Anne are an incredible team! You will not regret checking this place out!”
