Perini Ranch Steakhouse is a Steakhouse restaurant in the Buffalo Gap neighborhood of Buffalo Gap.
“Had dinner there a few days ago. Since we were a large group, we made reservations ahead of time. The food was great. We had several orders of the ribs appetizer (a lot of food!) plus the jalapeno bites and the fried quail legs. For the meal, had the prime rib which was great, and followed it with their famous bread pudding. I'm not a big bread pudding fan, although I did really like this. Perini's is a bit out of the way, but worth the trip. Look forward to my next visit.”
“As my kids would say, “That place is sick!” My generation would say, “That place is totally awesome!” My parent’s generation would say “That place is far out!” How ever you wish to translate the sentiment, Perini’s Ranch Steakhouse serves incredibly delicious rustic cuisine out at a ranch house well away from town. The bacon wrapped jalapeño poppers are phenomenal to start. The chocolates sheet cake is phenomenal to finish as well as the shortcake with cream. The steaks are perfect, the red potatoes, grilled/sautéed asparagus, Blue Cheese salad…you name it, it was phenomenal! Be prepared to sell the family jewels to afford it though. Still gets my highest recommendation!”
“I’ve been to Perini twice, and I can confidently say this is the place to have the best steak in the region. It’s expensive, but the quality truly delivers. I tried the ribeye and the bone-in ribeye with a Malbec, and it was fabulous. Make sure to make a reservation in advance, as the restaurant is always full.”
“Service was quick and friendly. Atmosphere was warm and inviting, it somewhat felt like you're at a gathering rather than a restaurant, homely in a sense. I didnt have steak I was a little full second day birthday celebration lol. Everything we ate was filled with flavor and had that warm touch. Had the cowboy redskins potatoes, the Ceasars salad which was truly awesome, they add olive oil to theirs instead of just adding regular creamy Ceasars dressing at least thats how it tasted. The Ribs were done to perfection not heavly seasoned but served with a delicious sauce which together was spectacular. My wife had the grilled catfish with Mac n cheese, truly devine. A must have is their quail legs for starters, we did a double serving because they could start a fight if you are sharing them lol yeah that good. To end the night we tried their bread pudding ranking it against the bread pudding from you know where in town lol, this one is also not too be shared its that delicious possibly the best in town. It tasted so good you could taste every accompanying ingredient, the Butter with the makers mark all blended together so good. Absolutely worth a trip out. We'll definitely be back for a steak night. 😋”
“🤠 🥩 Very cozy country themed atmosphere for dining. It’s kinda out in the middle of no where which feels a little sketchy. Once you get inside, it’s all good. The servers greet and seat you with a sense of urgency, courtesy, & politeness. They will make room for you and find a space for you if they can so that you’re not waiting around for so long. They promptly start your order. They make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I’ve been in the habit of wearing my cowgirl boots whenever I eat here all in the spirit of the cowgirl country lifestyle. I try to blend in and make it a true country cowgirl experience. I consider myself somewhat of a country girl at heart because both sides of my families originated from the US country south and I’m a proud American. So I do have country in me although I was born and raised in a big city. Yeehaw. lol! I have gone there specifically for the lamb chops special. The lamb chops are delicious, but the serving size is too small for the high price. The special comes with a small serving of asparagus or Brussels sprouts. Also, a serving of their homemade jalapeño jelly. I’ve never had anything like that jelly. It’s very unique and tastes great. I like the way they prop the lamb chops up on the plate when they present it to you. It’s an expensive dish, but it’s worth it to me because I really enjoy feasting on lamb chops. I just wish they served them on the menu more often. Sometimes they advertise the 🐑 lamp chop special and I’ve called in advance only to find out that they’re not on the menu for the weekend even though they’ve been advertised. I always call before going and I always will. It would be great if you all had better lighting in the parking lots at night so that guests feel more secure coming & going at night. Love, Light, Respect, Peace & Blessings, Care”
