“I had an amazing time at 131 MAIN. I stayed at a local hotel, tried a couple of restaurants, and heard many recommendations for 131 MAIN. Rich was an amazing attendant throughout the duration of the meal. The cornbread was delicious and my halibut and kale salad was to die for. My sister ordered a root beer, and the drink was presented with a chilled glass! This elevated the experience with such a small gesture. I had a wonderful experience here, and I will recommend it to others in the future.”

“My husband and I ate here for the first time Saturday night and it was overall one of the best food experiences I've ever had. Matthew M. was our server and he was fantastic!! He was super nice and made sure we had a good experience. We would highly recommend the cornbread.. we already can't wait to go back and take others. The proportions are also great for the price you are paying, highly recommend!!!”

“I cannot stop raving about this restaurant!!! We drove from Fayetteville to Clt for St Patrick’s weekend and my husband surprised me with a dinner at 131 Main!!! Let me tell you from the appetizer to the desert everything was mouth watering! We started with the smoked salmon aioli the savor and the smokiness of the salmon let me know the chef knew what he was doing!!! I then ordered the ribeye (blackened is my favorite) with their mashed potatoes and my husband immediately got jealous when he saw my plates!!! The meat was tender and full of flavor. Cooked to perfection. We then finished with a crème brûlée because I’m French and my husband thinks that’s my favorite desert :) and it was the prettiest and tastiest crème brûlée. We paired everything with their recommended red Wine. I cannot wait to come back. It was added to my favorite restaurants list!!! I couldn’t stop talking about the food and the atmosphere. “⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ | Where have you been hiding these ribs?! The Food: A Masterclass in BBQ Danish Ribs: Absolute perfection. They fall right off the bone with a caramelized, tangy BBQ sauce that is mouth-watering but not spicy. I initially wondered if "Imported from Denmark" was a gimmick—it’s not. These are easily the second-best ribs I’ve ever had in the world (sorry, OK somewhere else in NC still holds #1, but it’s a close race!). String Fries: Salty, crispy, and so flavorful they don’t even need ketchup. Peanut Ginger Slaw: Fresh, zesty, and a total palate cleanser. Key Lime Pie: A total "stick the landing" dessert. The lime zest is spot on and the graham cracker crust is fresh, crunchy, and earthy. The whipped cream was smooth and plentiful, though a touch more sweetness/vanilla would’ve made it legendary. Still, a 10/10 finish. The Experience Service: This place was hopping and chaotic, but the staff never missed a beat. Incredible hustle. Atmosphere: As soon as you smell that hickory smoker pit, you know you’re in the right place. It’s classy enough for a date night but relaxed enough for a night out with friends. “Visited the South Park location for my sister's birthday! We had a very good experience. For appetizers we tried the deviled eggs, spinach dip and chips and salsa. For dinner ribs, crab cakes, and salmon...all the food was delicious. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable of the menu. 131 has always been one of my favorite restaurants and I hope everyone else enjoys the same experience.”
