Welly's Restaurant- Hudson

“Tonight was our young server's first night working at Welly's. But she was personable, professional, and capable. While we waited to be seated outside, all wait staff asked if we were being taken care of. And finally, when bacon made its way into my salad when I asked for it to not be included, the manager came over to ask if I wanted a replacement (I did not.) Excellent customer attention, good food, and great atmosphere.”

“First-time visit for us. We were looking for a nearby restaurant for a late lunch and discovered Welly's. It was still quite busy at 2 pm, fortunately we were immediately seated. We had a chance to review the menu online so we were able to put in our order quickly. Our food arrived within a reasonable time. Everything was hot and delicious. The fish tacos were excellent and my wife really enjoyed her burger with the fig jam! The sweet potato fries and onion rings were cooked to perfection. With the two large parties next to us it was difficult to hear each other. No fault of the restaurant. Parking was the only challenge, even off-season but we managed a spot at the curb a block away. “Had a great experience as a party of five on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. We all enjoyed our food and I really appreciated Manuela's attention to my food allergies. The restaurant is larger than it seems from the outside with a nice atmosphere. Lots of great menu options for different food preferences (vegetarian for example), and very friendly staff. We live about 40 minutes away but it was a good halfway meeting point for our whole party, and we'll definitely go there the next time we're in Hudson! (Not sure it will allow me to caption each photo but we enjoyed the Cobb salad, fig and jam burger, the fajita bowl, the chicken parm sandwich, and a build-your-own burger with cheese and avocado)”

“One of the best choices of places to share a meal with friends in the historic core of Hudson. Varied menu of starters/small plates, salads, soups, and main courses; beverages, including beer, wine, cocktails. Our small group decided to order several small plates with drinks — very tasty and generous portions. Outdoor covered seating as well as indoor. Servers are friendly/polite; wait time for the food is acceptable, even with the place pretty full.”

“Dined here a few times. Atmosphere is the best part. Food is average & prices are reasonable. Service was friendly but extremely slow. 15min before they came to our table/took a drink order, and 30+min to order food, and I had to flag the waiter requesting to place our orders. Service is uncoordinated, and ZERO sense of urgency. Calamari was the best dish we had, steak tips were cooked great but under seasoned. I got surf & turf - menu said it came with baked stuffed shrimp, I got shrimp covered in bread crumbs. That's NOT stuffed shrimp lol. The menu should be updated accordingly. Food needed salt/pepper (which was not on the table) but by the time our server checked how our food was, we were finishing our meal. It took 1 hour 30min for my wife and I to have dinner, yikes. They had ample servers, so it didn't make much sense. They have a large menu, but my advice is to focus on quality over quantity. Seems like a great place to grab a drink and watch a game as you'll be there a while if dining in.”
